Maybe it's just me but I can only see about 20 apps? How do you explore the whole store? Or do you use the main app store app.

Looks like the complete store isn't up yet. I can also only see around 20 apps and there are no other options to search the store or something like this.

How do you actually "install" an apple watch app? Does it just port it over from your phone? I hope every apple watch enabled app doesn't show up on my watch. That would be annoying.

You can select the apps you want on your watch in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

It's live, but I there are only a handful of apps shown, where are all the apps? Watch aware website lists over 2000 apps available.

Target bothers me in that they do have Apple Pay in the app, and now a Watch app that is featured by Apple- But don't accept Apple Pay in the store - despite getting hacked!!

Very valid observation. I've found myself altering my shopping based on who accepts :apple:Pay and who doesn't (Walgreens vs. CVS). I also try to use cash when at Target. I wish they'd hurry up and roll it out.

Do I have to go to the Apple Store to use it?

(it's a joke, folks... move along...)

They probably love you for using cash... no credit card ding against them.

Well Now I am a bit concerned now. My primary account is a Mexican Apple ID. I already have the "Apple watch app", I enter the app and click the "store" button. In only show a message telling me it will be available in "2015". I hope when I pair my watch with my iPhone the store will go live, even if they haven't launched the product in Mexico yet. I know, every app that supports Apple watch will be available even if the App Store for the watch is not available. But is easier to find apps with a dedicated store.

Edit: I just posted a screenshot of the App. Translation: "available 2015" "Discover the App Store exclusively for Apple watch, coming soon"

That's the guidelines from Apple. The idea being that the when the user looks at the screen it's seamless rather than a sudden colored edge.

That, and it will also save on precious battery life, being that the screen is OLED this time around!
