I love David Bowie and may he R.I.P. but Blackstar was :confused: and the video was way too...something. I know some would say I am not "cerebral" enough to appreciate its symbolism and the statement he was making as he was exiting life, but it boils down to the fact I like my music to be entertaining and accessible and these days listening too closely to the lyrics or watching the videos for too many of these popular artists feels more like participating in an occult initiation rite than just chillin'.

Apple shouldn't be doing such things, it's picking winners and losers in effect, massively affecting subsequent sales in what in the end is an arbitrary manner.

Fine to promote the idea that Apple products are used to create professional content, but one has to wonder about "featured" content for sale. Think there might be bias and or a little quid pro quo involved?

Sausage Party? If that's even considered a movie... unless Seth Rogan's wet-dream is considered movie material. Seriously, if that is included in Apple's best of 2016 then Apple seriously needs help when it comes to their list.

Kubo and the Two Strings, however, was really good. Gotta give Apple credit for getting that one right.

Sadly, Sing Street is the only thing featured that could be called best of 2016. Everything else smacks of payoffs to Apple for strategic inclusion in the promotion.

I've heard of Bowie, Ga Ga and Springsteen. The rest are just Apple-Papple.
