What is this carpool karaoke thing? Is it just famous people singing in a car. Doesn’t seem that interesting but I guess it must be to be so popular!

I know it's become sort of popular to bash this show on here, but you should really give it a chance. It actually has a lot of depth, and the character arcs are really rewarding. Like, James Corden starts out as your average not-singing-karaoke person but eventually becomes a definitely-singing-karaoke person. Then, once the song ends, th—actually, I won't spoil it for you.

Also, the cinematography is perfect; you really feel like they're all in a car!

This actually makes perfect sense when I compare it to the Rock commercials. CarPool Karaoke is basically a long-form ad for Apple Music. It's not really a "TV show" in the conventional sense. It's more like a really long promo video.

I still don't understand. I've been watching this just fine on youtube for years. Then Apple buys it and it's a big thing, and it's delayed, then it's "launching" blah blah.

I just can't believe that Apple would go so low as to release such low quality television. Maybe this was 'entertainment' 30 years ago.
Totally embarrassing.

Now the average buyer's IQ has apparently fallen below zero, we can expect another slew of refurb designs, retrogrades, mehpgrades, everything that helps to fill the streets out of Tim's pipeline.

This is exactly what i'm thinking. It's a true insult to people's intelligence.

Well, I have only seen one, and it was with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I enjoyed it, mainly because I like the band. It was great seeing Anthony wrestle the fat guy in somebody's front yard. Definitely wouldn't pay to watch them, though.
