No way that Siri would understand that accent!

I tried it using two iOS devices, and she didn't. On an odd note, I started the timer with my own iPhone to see if it was in real time (Hey, the ad is a minute long, and the timer only goes for 50 seconds in the advert). It's about 5 seconds off, so obviously that's the part they cut when the Cookie Monster has to head outside to the garden.

Good ad.

But . . . I do Hey, Siri with my iPhone 5s plugged in and I usually have to wake it up to get it to listen even though it's supposed to work even when it's in sleep mode.

I also have a Nexus 6 which has always-on listening even unplugged like the iPhone 6s, and it also doesn't work 100% of the time but much more often than the iPhone (plus it blows Siri out of the water when it comes to understanding what I'm saying).

I am going to say that while watching on my pc siri on my 6s did set a timer for 14 minutes and played the moody blues from a waiting playlist album or something... she didn't check the timer though. :(

(1) I loved this ad, it was cute and fun.
(2) I laughed when his head came up from outside the window!
(3) Siri doesn't respond that fast. It's more like "Hey Siri, set the timer for 14 minutes"............12 seconds later......"Okay, I set the timer for 14 minutes." BOOM! Burnt cookies!

I'm not sure if Apple wants to promote crookie monster.

Before I saw Louis, I could tell this was Family Guy. :p

Would have been cute if it was an actual Sesame St. bit -- not possible I understand. But as an ad, kinda meh and at the end you forget what its an ad for and think it is a Sesame St. clip.
