Fabulous one....

GOOD FIND!!!

(roll eyes)

Hey, I have a fun challenge! =)
Got one that has a gd thing to do with iMessage automatically sending/receiving fully encrypted messages between iOS devices, you know... like the article & this conversation is about, or was this all you could find- this bug that was squashed in like 1 day & literally caused zero trouble for anyone whatsoever?

Yeah no one was affected by this bug. No one was affected by FaceTime servers being taken down because of the eavesdropping bug. No one is affected by Apple's butterfly keyboards. No one has ever had any problems with Apple products. 0% trouble.

Being leaked on the internet is different than being thrown wily-nily on the internet.

And no I don’t think iMessages can just be hacked and be read real-time while in transit.

Read up on a Snowden and the tools the nsa and cia have that we know of.

If they can turn on a webcam while a laptop is off, they sure as **** can break simple encryption.

They don't need to break the encryption, they just need to break the key exchange. Since it is not open source and not well documented its hard to tell how secure their implementation is. But considering china has same infrastructure running it is wise to assume big gov can intercept and listen.

And the point of this hyperbolic post is? Mountain out of a mole hill? (edit: apple won the court case, so that says no one was affected compromised by this bug)

I'm sorry, I REALLY find the new ads - especially this one - unbearable! This aired during the Sixers/Raptors game 2 nights ago, It just went on and on....and on and feared with the iMessage noises, this was an Apple ad. Sadly I was right. I really miss the days of creative Apple commercials, now they just blend in with 99.999% of the other annoying commercials on TV.

BUT... I still find Samsung ads - with that annoying loud in your face techno (whatever you call it) annoying "music" incredibly ear-assulting. It's an instant "grab your remote and hit MUTE."

WhatsApp just recently demonstrated end to end encrypted messaging services can be easily hacked and malware injected.

I wouldn't always trust what you think, try to be open minded, Apple isn't infallible, but the glossy marketing does go a long way.

The anything can be hacked with a snap of the fingers doesn’t cut it either. I don’t trust those opinions. One size doesn’t really fit all.
