Apple today shared a new video that's aimed at Android users who are considering a switch over to an iPhone. The video walks through common questions that switchers might have, including transferring contacts, photos, and messages, trade-ins, long-term updates, and more.

It also covers the durability of the iPhone such as water resistance, battery life, reliability of the iOS operating system, security, and privacy protections for personal data.

Apple's four-minute video on switching to an iPhone is basically a condensed version of its dedicated "Switch to iPhone" website that walks through everything smartphone users need to know about upgrading to an iPhone. Apple also maintains a dedicated "Move to iOS" Android app that makes it easy to transfer data.

LOL @ 2:05 in the answer to "Will it be reliable?" Someone in Apple's marketing department had fun with that one.

If anyone out there is watching this and actually considering the switch, it may be tough at first but it’ll be the best decision you have ever made! 📱
I agree. Made this decision back in 2008. Never looked back and had any regrets. Zero Regrets!

iPhone is 👑. It rules the 🌏.

I made the switch around 2012 and same never looked back. I’ve always been a little curious but recently I got an android phone from my employer. Let’s just say that made me really confident that I made the right decision and killed my curiosity

The iPhone is not as flawless as Apple thinks it is. Samsung makes some good devices now and as someone that uses both.....I think innovation is more on the Android side today. Apple puts in features Android had years prior and pretends they invented it. My Galaxy watch is 100% more reliable than either the AW7 or 3 I have owned. The iPhone has not really evolved much over the last few years. One thing is for sure they need to get a foldable out cause I am not going back to a slab for my non-work phone. Is Android perfect....no...but nor is iPhone. The Android market moves the tech forward and Apple just plays catch up for the most part. They have the resources and money to be at the forefornt but they would rather milk everyone on the same tired tech for a decade.

I'm not a WhatsApp user because Facebook, but it's pretty huge for some people. I was migrating some relatives over to iPhone who had lots of years of history here, and this was nearly a deal breaker.

WhatsApp itself CANNOT DO IT - your message history is all stored on your device. The only way to do it is with dodgy 3rd party software which started installing viruses on my desktop as well.

So yeah, anyway, think about the apps you care about and research them.
