the previous trailer had a little more clarity on that. It seems like for some reason the “parents” get the fake baby. I’m not sure if they cannot have kids, lost a kid, or what. The husband appears to agree to it because it mentally helps the wife. They then hire a nanny to babysit the fake baby. Apparently the nanny’s past is dark.
The first trailer stated their baby died and the doll was brought in to help his wife who couldn’t except the reality of losing a child.

I disagree. With M. Night Shyamalan, chances are it's going to be great -- but underrated and widely misunderstood (and that has more to do with the audience than the director).
Soooo looking forward to this. It looks like he totally nailed it this time!

Currently i'm Interested almost anything Apple TV+ release.

With the first shows already the production quality is very high. I checked one episode from all the big shows and surprisingly i wanted more and more. Story or idea wise i wasn't Interested of those shows, but the shows are really good so far!

I also like the fact that there's not much to watch, lot easier to start watching. I've had netflix for two months now and there's just so much content that i'm not Interested to start watching anything because most of their shows are really bad quality.
Then you are watching the wrong shows on netflix. There is a ton of content you can catch up on. Not as much lately, but plenty of stuff to watch from before you signed up.

I think the problem some have, myself included, is quality vs quantity. I haven't found a quality show on Netflix in some time. That is a large reason I have been pretty much have been using HBO exclusively as my streaming service.

Looking forward to checking this out. Shayamalan is far from the perfect movie director, but most of his stuff is intriguing and has a certain charm. This show may rock, or it may suck, but the only opinion of it that matters to me is my own

No. Duel is right. The psychological reaction is real and I feel it too. When there’s so much crap being produced on Netflix, and there are so many crap choices, the combination of being overwhelmed and disappointed really hits you.
Apple is refreshing by only choosing carefully curated high quality shows without the garbage. I have confidence when opening a show on Apple TV+ that it will be worth my time.

Every major show that came with the launch of  TV+ - TMS, See, Dickinson, FAM - have all been good. The elephant queen is good too. Quality over quantity.

If you mean quality as in beautifully shot and nicely made, then yes. But there are other aspects: script, narrative, subject, entertainment value, even general appeal, and most of the shows lack on that.

You could say See is a quality production in the technical sense, but boy is it bad... terrible show.

No, you are incorrect. You are merely stating your opinion. Don’t try to act that you are the objective authority on taste in television. I and many others love these shows, including script, narrative, entertainment value, and general appeal!

lesson #1 for adults: never pass your opinion off as a fact. You will soon learn that others don’t take kindly to that.

Man, this is going to be creepy as hell. I bet that doll comes to life and starts crawling on the ceiling.

Bravo.

Opinion <> fact

There's a few decent shows on Apple TV, and this is one of them I am queuing up. If you're on the fence about Disney, wait. I started with it today because it only cost me $2 because of my subscription to Hulu, but wow... buffering like it's 1998. Totally unwatchable. Enjoying Apple TV overall.

Maybe check your internet connection? I’ve been streaming since launch night with ZERO streaming issues. There was a menu glitch once, but zero streaming problems. This is through ATV4K, hardlined.

Yeah, I know some people have bad taste and terrible perception.

I'm sorry, but all of these shows have been ok, but not huge. Apple needs a huge show. I'm talking "The Office" levels of huge. "Friends" levels of huge. "Walking Dead" levels of huge.
You get me? Something that everyone wants to watch.

The Morning Show, For All Mankind, and Dickinson are huge. The Apple TV+ service has to catch on and they will be recognized for the greatness they are.
