This was the only way that Nate could make his way into Ted's locker room, his is the new Scrooge!
You left out the most important question, how did they suddenly turn in to claymation figures? ?Well. that was a bit weird. Why was Nate in it? Why would somebody's 'tache disappear, then come back with no explanation, and what's remotely Christmassy about either event?
I liked season one but something changed in the second season. Was unbearable to watch half the time.
Love this bit when Leon meets Suzie (crap audio quality)Roy can't hold a candle to Suzie Green on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Anyone who actually liked this xmas abomination is the one with a wooden soul. This short has negative soul.Tell me you have no soul without telling me you have no soul…
Season 1 was absolutely brilliant, best TV series I've ever seen. We laughed, cried, got angry, cheered our hearts out, sang the songs, and our souls beamed with joy, soaking up the insane, eye opening, displays of what is possible with pure positivity and patience. So, sorry for the possibly dumb / uninformed question - is (at least Season 2 of) this show the same "quality" as the "wildy popular" (LOL) Santa Inc?
That wasn't the only problem with it. But yeah, they needed more major plot lines to give it tension, but didn't add any truly interesting ones. It just meandered on with no tension, no purpose, no wit, no character, no depth, no anything. It became a chore to watch, waiting and hoping for it to come good again. That was a bit random…
I don’t understand people’s problem with season 2 of the show. It had to move forward somehow. Ted can’t hated or doubted all the time & Rebecca can’t be trying to ruin the club. If season 2 had those 2 main plots in, it would have been boring. Ted Lasso is still one of my most favourite shows on TV+. The theme tune is great as well.
Hey it's ChristmasWe're just supposed to be fine with Nate being there?
Not to mention completely unnecessary and poorly timedYep, and this Christmas abomination was completely woeful.
Yup, that's what I was afraid of. Exactly the same reason I couldn't watch their space series after a while (albeit it did start off excellent and I did like the first few episodes) - Tim's propaganda was just too much for meIt feels like the writers wrote season 1 unfettered. But then for season 2, Timmy imposed his Apple TV cancel culture inclusivity cancer mentality on the writing team, and destroyed their creativity, and possibly, their will to live.
It's too much for most people. Thus why Apple TV+ is and, will continue to, fail to do well compared to competitors. I mean, I am actually a reasonably liberal minded lefty (I think Bernie Sanders would make an epic president), and it's even too much for me, so how the hell is anyone centrist or right wing ever going to handle it? It's not even just "too much" for me, quite a lot of the catalogue is completely unwatchable, want to smash my brains out in pain at the mindless mindset of it, level of unwatchable.Yup, that's what I was afraid of. Exactly the same reason I couldn't watch their space series after a while (albeit it did start off excellent and I did like the first few episodes) - Tim's propaganda was just too much for me![]()
I wasn't going to bring it up but you are right. That "Sorry..." line bugged me too. It didn't belong. On the bright side I can't imagine too many Lasso fans enjoying it either, for the same reason you mentioned. Those who laughed probably had a real hoot with Santa Inc.Anyone who actually liked this xmas abomination is the one with a wooden soul. This short has negative soul.
Apart from being utterly boring, characterless, and unfunny (unlike the actual show, well, at least the first season), did you miss the part where it took a huge swipe at white, straight, men? Ted Lasso - "Sorry I was being such a straight white cisgender male version of the grinch earlier." Imagine if Ted was actually a black, gay, woman, and said "Sorry I was being such a gay black cancelculturist female version of the grinch earlier." Could you imagine the utter outrage such a line would have generated? But not only does Timmy aim such a message at others, but that's his idea of the Christmas spirit!
This short doesn't have soul. It is simply Timmy telling people who aren't just like him to go jump in the lake. And before you go, wait, but he's white, haven't you noticed that every little #woeisme group has a swipe at white men, even if they are white themselves. White women do it, gay white men do it, they all do it, as if they aren't white themselves. As if they never benefit from the privilege and dominance. They have all side swiped the momentum from the anti-racist movement, and stolen it for their own little sooky whinge.
Thus why Apple TV+ is and, will continue to, fail to do well compared to competitors.
Well, I think (as a right-winger) can answer: I can't handle that kind of propaganda and preaching. I want to enjoy movies and not to hear preaching.I mean, I am actually a reasonably liberal minded lefty (I think Bernie Sanders would make an epic president), and it's even too much for me, so how the hell is anyone centrist or right wing ever going to handle it?
