I can't quite understand what you're saying, could you phrase it in the form of a photoshopped image?

How's this? I think the show looks kinda good, myself. :)

Wow. Yet another waste of hundreds of millions of dollars. But sorry we can't do a new Airport Extreme cuz it just doesn't sell well enough...

Couldn’t agree more with this. I know they make zero off routers, but if google can continue to sell their wifi offerings I don’t see why Apple can’t.

I get it, selling services and cheesy tv shows are in but still... there are millions of Apple WiFi customers. They have the means to do it all still.

It looks corny, cringeworthy and totes boring: I must ditto the comment above about Apple wasting money on these follies, when they can't maintain Airport Extreme, or fin money to update or upgrade the Mac Pro Cylinder, or make any monitor that costs less than $5000, or ...

Seems pretty good to me. I can identify with the notion of games that make an impact (legendary games like Heroes III, C&C, Rise of Nations, etc.). Some good jokes. It's a bit like "Hipsters in a NYC version of Silicon Valley" but I'll give it a go.

I've worked in AAA game development for many years and this looks nothing like actual dev. It looks awful, although saying that the actual process of making games generally involves starring at a screen for hours, watching progress bars, and rebooting Dev kits after a crash.
Big Bang Theory wants to know your location.

I will watch almost anything with "Mac". If the people behind Always Sunny created it, it should be hilarious.

any one else feels like Apple is trying too hard?

You do realize Apple doesn't actually MAKE the TV Shows or create them. They buy them. Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day have a track record of creating and writing a successful show. It's a no-brainier. Someone was going to pick this up to series, if was just a question of who.

Hah. This looks hilarious. I’m glad I watched the trailer before reading the comments on here. A bunch of keyboard warriors with their arms crossed: “no Apple, you can’t make me laugh.”

Jeez relax. No one is here to dictate your tastes.

Agreed… it's amusing how seriously people take themselves in these forums.

This looks hipper and funnier than anything on ATV+ yet. Def wanna see more irreverent stuff on the platform. Shows that are less message/social justice driven. Programs that are just, ya know, “fun” and “good”. Who knows if this show will be any good, but overall, as far as direction, a very good sign.

I tend to agree that most of the jokes are flat - this looks like more of a drama than a comedy based on the acting in the trailer. I liked the bagel prescription bit though.
Apple has been pretty bad at editing trailers for all of their shows so far. Everything that I’ve actually watched is better, and more enjoyable than the awkward trailers that first came out. Hoping that this continues that trend.

I personally found the bagel prescription pretty dumb and un-funny. Interesting how the same thing can be seen two different ways by differnet people. That explains why this thread started out with overbearing negativity towards TV+. Apple is just getting started, and so far they've released some fantastic content! We haven't seen nothing yet!

I was originally saddened by Apple's withdrawal from the router market, but now I see why.... other companies have really raised the bar, and AirPort was no longer competitive. For that, I applaud Apple for making the right decision, even if it has short-term hurt for some of us.
Not sure what you mean by “now I see why”. Apple shuttered their WiFi biz years ago. Certainly there have been advances, especially with mesh networks, but Apple was very innovative when they were active in networking, and there is zero reason to believe they wouldn’t continue to be if they’d stayed in it.
