I just think the multiple camera array is overkill for people like me that uses it just as a phone and rarely need the overkill on the camera. I'll take a couple here and there, but that's about it. It's just goofy.

Well the standard non-SE iPhones have only 2 cameras. I don’t see what the issue is… mainline Samsung S-series phones have multiple cameras built into their rear modules also.

Like I said, there is a current phone that Apple sell with one rear camera and it’s the SE 2022. Why would Apple make an iPhone 14, for example, with one rear camera when it’s supposed to be a flagship phone.

Baffling.

Actually what Apple needs to make is a standard phone with a 6.7 inch screen that’s not a pro version so folks can purchase a regular phone with a big screen without having all of the extra professional features. The 13 Pro/Pro Max was designed for professional photographers and filmography as well as people that like big screens but it’s really focused on photography and video. if you’re not into that then you would choose one of the lesser models. usually a 6.1 inch screen is big enough for most people. However I think if Apple made a iPhone 13 standard model with a 6.7 inch screen, it would probably be a good seller because not everybody needs or wants to pro version of the iPhone. I think a iPhone 13 with the iPad mini would be a good combination. The best of both worlds right there, a good phone to use and a small tablet to use that has a large screen for everything else that you would need a big screen for…

An iPhone with the design, battery life and screen quality of the 13 mini, with one lens that is capable of night mode shots. It’s an absolute win for us.

But it’s never gonna happen probably because it would cannibalise the sales of all other models.

Don't worry. Apple will ride the iPhone 8 design for the SE line for years to come, and it will keep single lens because having to redesign the phone cost money, and Apple doesn't want to spend too much money for their lowest tier.
