Apple Silicon MacBook Air/Pro Mac mini Order Status Thread

After your credit card was charged, how soon after did your status change to shipped (not preparing to ship)? My original deliver date was Dec 4 - Dec 11 but i just got charged today so I'm wondering if it will arrive early.

Ordered both MBA 16/512 and MBP 16/1TB 5min after store opened. MBA coming tomorrow and MBP still processing.

That’s both models of the Air & Pro available to pickup from my local Apple Store tomorrow, but no 16GB models unfortunately.

Not sure when the card was charged but I did order within the first hour of the Apple event ending.

My arrival date changed from 23-25th to just "25th". No idea if that's a sign of further delays or not.

I ordered an hour or so after the store came back up. Apple took the money on Wednesday and my order changed to “preparing to ship” yesterday (Monday) evening.

Sorry to burst your bubble.
 
I was thinking of getting it from the official apple online store but it would take at least 2 weeks meanwhile big retailers here have them in stock and can be picked up tomorrow. The prices are the same. What would be the advantage of getting it from the official online store?

Seems like a no brainer to get it from a local big retailer in your case.

Only advantage is if you want to bump up the RAM or SSD sizes.
 
Mine is “in transit” from Mount Hope, ON. Not sure if that still means delivery tomorrow to Toronto as scheduled or if stuff that’s reached that point might make it out today.

Date went from Nov 30th to Nov 27th. Hoping for tailwind and earlier delivery. 🙂

UK here. Ordered 20 minutes after the event ended and I decided to go with the MBP 16gb unified ram and a 512gb SSD.

It's been preparing to ship for around 24 hours now, does anybody have any idea of when I can expect it to be shipped?

Hooray, approximately 28 hours after going to 'Preparing to Ship', my 16/512 MBP has been picked up by DHL and is on its way to Melbourne.
 
I ordered the same model, maybe a few minutes later.
Had the same date and status until 8 AM this morning.
I had the status for about 20 Hours, yours should update soon.

Now it has been shipped and the estimate updated to the 23rd. Location as of now "EPZ, China". The destination is Germany. Delivered by UPS.
 
Just got my destination scan. It’d be nice to for once get the “track my driver/delivery” link since my husband will be out for a bit but hopefully back in time for the package.

Ugh I should have held for pick at my UPS CC.

Hoping for a smooth delivery for everyone!
