Plus new iPod Touches, Classics, Shuffles, iTunes 9, Home sharing, iTunes LP....

most of the above just got larger storage. that's a usual thing with apple. I ugess I am just not a fan boy I don't get excited with small normal improvements. I have been using computers too long. don't get me wrong the iphone was great and getting my first mac a mac mini was cool.
but a little faster processor or a larger hard drive or a cheaper price (if I am not buying) does not get me worked up. computers are great I use them all the time but they just don't for the most part get me worked up. I hate spending mopney on an upgrade it is like your throwing so much money away. well with a mac the resale is far better though.

rumors seems a small part of this site. but to get worked up over a rumor when so far most of the upgrades when they come out people are disappointed becomes a bit silly. at least wait till you know what is coming out before you get worked up. from all I have read there are no new processors ready yet so any updates will be small and not a big deal. just look at the last one where all people got was a nano with a video camera.

Until recently, a lot of the rumors have been dead on. (or at least very close. Even most of them these days.) People will always whine and moan, but for the most part, people are happy with what Apple gives them. Sometimes they make a mistake, but they usually fix it quickly.

So you use your computer like the rest of the world does, but tech industry news doesn't interest you unless it directly affects you. Obviously yout not a techie like some of us are on these forums. I'm with Hell Hammer when I say I also get excited for product upgrades I'm not planning on buying. And what is exactly wrong with that? Just different strokes, is all...

Does the iMac really need to get any smaller? I'd be perfectly happy with the size of the white iMac with a nice GPU in it...

Apple tries to make just about everything smaller with each release. One day it will be as thin as an iPod touch yet 6x more powerful than any current iMac.
