Contextual comprehension would go much further than inference in this situation, but I don't expect much from you.
And what exactly rubbed you wrong today that you find it necessary to insult other people on this forum or are simply a d*ck in general?
Please let me demonstrate you why the US-centric information given in this US-centric article is worthless and my question after numbers for sales outside the world makes more than sense.
Ask yourself – based on that article – if the Apple TV is successful. Think about that for a couple of seconds before reading on.
Came to a conclusion?
If you said the Apple TV is a flop, you are wrong.
If you said it's a success, you are also wrong.
The only correct answer would have been that you cannot decide because that solitary piece of information given in the article is not sufficient to come to a valid conclusion.
While the US market is important, it's by far not the only one (*gasp!*) and it's not necessarily even the biggest one (*GASP!!!*). The Apple TV is present on far more markets than the Chromecast and especially the Roku. It's quite possible that the sales on these markets more than make up for any trailing behind the competitors in the US.
But do we know from this article? No, we don't.
So, what does that article actually say us of real informational value about the Apple TV's standing versus its competitors? Nothing. Didn't notice that? I didn't expect that much from you.
Anyway: Welcome to my ignore list.
