    Hey guys,

Am I right in saying that if Apple are going to be holding a special event on September 9th, they should be sending the invites out pretty soon. What do you think? Who's exited? :D

Yea the invites should be sent out within the next couple of weeks. I wonder if they will be streaming it live so that we can watch it? i really hope they do.

They have streamed every event of the past couple of years now, so I think we should expect to be able to watch it live.

They'll probably announce the 5.5" but given all the rumors of a staged rollout. I think we'll not be able to buy it until later in the fall.

Yea me too, hopefully there will still be a surprise or two

As long as they announce it, i'm fine with waiting a month or two i will need to see them before deciding between the 4.7" and the 5.5"

The 1st is a US holiday, most likely 09/02/2014. They did the same pattern for the iPhone 5 launch in 2012.

I though it was only last years event that was streamed butt I could be mistaken on this.

They definitely didn't stream the iPhone or iPad event last year. They did stream WWDC 2014.

I didn't realise the iPhone event last year wasn't.

Strange... I remember watching it, but that must have been after the event.

You bet they're streaming it ;)

I'm going to watch it on my TV lying on the couch like I did in june for WWDC's keynote.
This year's WWDC was really exciting, I hope september's keynote won't let me down

Last year's iPhone event did NOT have a live stream:

    ----------

That is 2 events. Hardly a track record. As a matter of fact, over the past couple of years, Apple has been unpredictable as to wether or not they will stream an event.

I will be watching it on my Mac, the iPhone 6 will be announced thats almost certain, but i think there is more speculation over a 4.7" and a 5.5". I'm not sure if other products will be announced, updated Mac's maybe? The iPad is likely to get its own event in October. I'm looking forward to see what :apple: announce in September :D
