Still works for me.
So they're going to transition the live activites to the sports app and the apple TV won't work anymore correct?
I’m on the iOS 18 beta. So I think that’s why it isn’t working.
And yes.
Still works for me.

Excuse me? The football league is followed by more people than the premiership!. If you watch Wrexham on Disney + they are League 1 , the lower leagues are grass routes football. And should be respected for what it is. I mean who cares about women's basket ball ? No one.Eh. I mean they're other top leagues they should prioritize before a lower level English league division.
In what way? This is cool and all but the timing is beyond bizarre.
Why? I've enjoyed the app for however long it's been out. What would be the benefit of it not being around?Live activities and notifications should have been implemented from day one of the launch of this app.
Just because you don't know the reasons, doesn't mean the reasons don't make sense.I'm glad they're finally doing live activities but the fact that it's being released after iOS 18 makes even LESS sense.
Been out for half a year now.Wait… what? Apple has a “Sports” app? Is this a relatively new app? Or has this been out for years and somehow I never knew? 😂

I would love to have LPGA coverage.Still no golf or tennis. I guess Eddy Cue doesn’t consider those sports.
That’s odd then. I reset all settings a couple weeks ago, but I made sure I turned on notifications and allowed Live Activities for the TV app. And I made sure the “Sync My Sports” setting was turned on. I don’t even get the “follow live” button anymore for MLB games where I can manually add live activities like I used to.I'm in the 18.1 beta and it's working for me
Live updates have been a thing for two years. The API already exists.Live updates is a system level API call. I see a lot of people don't understand software and development.
Not if they add new routes or change them.Live updates have been a thing for two years. The API already exists.
They don’t have the talent. They constantly pull people from one project to work on others. Good software engineers aren’t easy to find. As far as priorities Apple now has the stupid Vision Pro that MIGHT become popular in 5 years so they’re gonna be taking resources away from macOS and iOS of which are used in incredibly popular productsIf Apple put some more effort into the app, it really could be the only one anyone needs. It's not like they haven't got the talent or money to do it.
It’s going to be activated in an upcoming update sometime after iOS 18 is releasedIs live activities working for anyone on the IOS 18/18.1 beta? I'm on the latest 18.1 beta and it's not working. Unless I'm just missing how you turn it on. I added a couple of teams to favorites and I figured I'd just see live activities while they were playing, but nope.
