I have used apple products for 14-15 years now. iTunes and Apple ID user for almost as just as long.
Never have I asked for refund. Yes I have bought apps that did not work or stopped working after xyz cause.
I bought it, somebody made an as$ of me. I got over of it. Made me more cautious next time I am buying.
I am working in service industry and I can be rude. And customer is Not always right. Sure it's possible to bash people/businesses for no valid reason online, but I still believe that others who read reviews can recognise drama queens.
I have often situations where customer feels that they should have something for free for no good reason.
Eg. Key to the room is not working. Asks for refund... Wtf?! For what? You can't rip the key into several pieces and expected to work. Or if it gets demagnetised... **** happens. It stole 30sec of your time... You want refund for that? You just wasted my time and refund has been deducted for extra service. Balance zeroed.
Or
Leaving hotel before breakfast opening hours, breakfast is included in the rate for all guests. It's not extra charge. But they still ask for deduction on the rate. No!
And I will take an argument with fools like this.
Why do I think they are fools? Because if they asked nicely I would have made breakfast box for them myself. I am not lazy and will do extra work for free if you know how to ask. See me as human.
But if you act like a fool, then you get nothing from me. No service. I am not a cloth you can rip in pieces as you like because you just happen to feel as customer. Sure you are paying for service but not to violate me verbally.
So sure, you think 14 in 5 years is low number... But it's still 14 complaints for your own mistakes. I would also deny you services. And I am from Europe.
Knowledge costs. Learn how to save money, so not expect refunds.
Service is just that service. Service can be refused. As it's not the rule of law, but service. Consider that service removed for your Apple ID.
Hopefully you will learn correct lesson from this. I know that you already made your own decision about Apple and their service, by reading this thread. And just a tip, that's not correct lesson.
