Job's wasn't superhuman, he couldn't do everything all at the one time. To say this wouldn't have happened with him in charge is ridiculous and besides, the iPad 2 is still on sale, big deal.

Same in Washington DC on 395 passing the Capitol...giant large billboard.

Same in LA... iPad 2 billboards EVERYWHERE...

Actually no. These two billboards changed on 4/3. (#1 NW corner of La Cienega and Santa Monica & #2 SE Corner of Fairfax and San Vicente.)

See attached pics.

Ah the irony...a T-MOBILE in the picture..it's like Apple is taunting them. :p

I live in Minneapolis, and I'm pretty sure the billboard near Hennepin Ave in downtown is still featuring the iPad 2 also. Granted, the nearest Apple Store to there is about 3-4 miles away, but still - it's right in the vicinity of the Target Center and the ball field... if the ball field matters. :D

Seeing as outdoor advertising is usually purchased in blocks no smaller than 3 months, it's likely that they haven't run out of that time yet.

I think we've reached a point in the US and Europe where advertising the iPad is not as critical as it was in 2010 and 2011. Most people are aware of it, most people who want it have it or plan to get it when the price goes down (the reason Apple decided to keep the iPad 2 around) or a smaller display size/lighter weight model is released.

the ipad pretty much sell itself now.
when someone mention a tablet, ipad usually come to mind first

Billboards in downtown Mpls still show-off the iPad 2. With a strong retail presence near downtown (5 stores 15 minutes away in all directions but north), I'm surprised they haven't been updated yet.

Actually, this is no longer true. XP is only number two now, Win 7 has gained more market share than its older sibling.

That is shocking. Do those numbers include corporate installations? I see so many businesses still running Windows XP and Server 2003. If so, I guess I may be wrong about the post-apocalyptic world.

As a military member, a lot of the government computers I run into still are running Windows XP. On another note, I recently saw some government computers still running Windows 2000! lol

Yeah, I have a strong feeling about the number of Windows XP computers out in the world. Speaking of public sector, I noticed WIndows XP computers running at NASA during my visit to Space Center Houston last summer. Though I imagine NASA may have systems running nearly every operating system ever written, so they may not be the best example. :D

I always see business computers running Windows XP :(. I wonder what Microsoft's thoughts are on the entire matter.
