The progression of the point being that something is available and someone supposedly just not making proper use of it to it suddenly actually just not mattering at all and just being silly somehow was certainly a quick one.

No progression. It's always been silly, hence my first post on the subject. I've seen no reason to even think about jailbreaking, and the justifications given have reinforced the idea that it's a waste of time and an unnecessary security risk.

I've already said why those are all wrong, but here's a picture showing that the first is wrong. I'm not going to detail every nit pick you claim. Let's just say that there are no killer apps for jailbreaking, and there never will be, because if there were, Apple would find a way to add the app to the ecosystem.
You have touchID so your percentage can be in your status bar without pulling down from the right side of the notch like I have to do to see the % without a jailbreak. I have an XS Max with a notch so I can not see the % in the status bar without a jailbreak, which I love by the way. As long as you use certified repos and know what you’re doing you’re not compromising your security. I’ve been jailbreaking for years and never had any issues with security or important apps on my phone.
