Why does Apple apparently find it impossible to eliminate leaks? This is very reminiscent of 1990s Apple before Steve Jobs shut down most leaks, including suing a blog out of existence.
I understand the appeal but I think it's an ergonomic nightmare. Holding your arm to make a video call, or angling it just so to take pictures.I wanted it, it would’ve made me feel like a spy kid
Online forum user whines about something that as never announced as a product; what else is new?Apple cancels another product, what else is new?

I see... you've never fired a rifle. You can rotate your watch a rather more comfortable and usable position to the slight side of your wrist. This adjusted position makes it far easier to glance at and use in general. The way people have worn and used watches for centuries is wrong.I don’t think this would be very intuitive anyway. It’d be awkward trying to point the camera at something with the watch being on your wrist. I’d prefer to use a feature like this on my phone.
Actually, it wouldn't be that awkward at all - put the camera on the front side so when you raise your wrist to look at the screen, you would see what's in front of you.I don’t think this would be very intuitive anyway. I would love for Apple to make a wrist-worn or a ring device solely dedicated to fitness and health tracking, similar to what Oura is doingThere should never be a camera on the Apple Watch. Who would want to hold up his wrist long enough for a FaceTime call? Also, it eats extremely precious battery life. Keep adding and improving health and fitness features and try to add battery life. That's what the Apple Watch is about.
Camera on AirPods are a bad idea too. Facial hair would cover it up.don’t be rediculous, camera equipped buds would make more sense to capture content with any device, including watch.

I was thinking the same it'd be an awkward position, very tiring although Apple may have the solution for that.I don’t think this would be very intuitive anyway. Any chance Apple adds cameras to the Mac Pro wheels?
cancelled most likely for privacy reasons. many workplaces dont allow cameras on phones/devices brought in, so this would prevent millions of sales.
it sucks though, facetime on a watch would be really fun
Exactly.Apple cancels another product, what else is new?
