This is great! Even though $19 might seem high, if you have something important to do, the $19 might be far less than having to drive down (or have someone else drive down) and fight to get into the Apple store. Good move.

I probably wouldn't pay $19 to save me a 30 minute drive to the Mall of America from my house (going there gives me the opportunity to buy more spicy food stuff at the Pepper Palace :D) but it would be worth it if I were onsite in a hotel ballroom in another city without a car and had an emergency. Cool!

Very nice addition, but might not be used extensively. Only use case I can see right now is being stuck at work, you NEED a charging cable, but you don't have a spare. Have one delivered to the workplace within an hour could be worth the $19 delivery fee.

So you got your package in 35 minutes and decided to hold up the next guy by asking the driver questions. Do you also take forever at the ATM?

In Denver the Postmates iOS App has the Apple TV as an option but the iOS Apple Store App does not show them like the screenshots.

No go in NYC

On the bright side, we do have Amazon Prime Now here, so I get free 2 hour delivery on a whole lot more than just Apple stuff :)

Amazon Prime Now is amazing. We live about 4 miles from the distribution center in DFW and get a lot of stuff. A lot of it is stuff that I'd rather just not pick up on the way home....Just order it from the app that afternoon and have it on the porch when I get home.

Holy crap !! That's fast delivery..

Expensive, but fast...

In the same time u order pizza online, you'd get both deliveries ... Now that is

Hope this comes my way soon.

Hey, they don't call it "instant gratification" for nothing! 35 minutes is absolutely insane. I guess this is where the future of retail is going. Best Buy and those types better up their game!

It is?

I can hobble to my fridge and fish out a Cornish pasty and gobble it up in five minutes. That's what I call instant gratification.

Call me when that pizza arrives in my lap within eight seconds of me thinking about food.

This is a big move for them.

Same day delivery is a big thing and opens up a lot of jobs as long as no one raises the minimum wage. I am not betting on the Amazon nor Domino's delivery drones. Way to much liability and accuracy.

Can see this service picked up by Fed Ex. The union inside UPS would kill this service so I doubt if they could buy it.

"Fed Ex Same Day" that has a nice ring to it.

Nom nom nom!

All we need now is a Tinder where we right swipe and she is knocking at the door without need to even get outside.

Actually you are the type of a guy who could use a service like this one imo;). On a side note what type of business that requires a Mac Pro and 3 17" MacBook pros?

For one, I'm not a guy. Do I need a super girly avatar or what? I thought a heart was girly enough... can't change my name.

I'm a freelance motion graphics designer for live events. The MacPro is my workhorse for designing and sometimes for performing. Two of the 17" MBPs are for designing/operating on the road, primary and backup (love to rent them to my clients for $50/day each!) and the 3rd one is my older personal MBP I leave at home and clutter up with all my personal and business accounting stuff.

I hate how these innovative services always start in larger tech-centric cities but don't initially see value in medium-sized cities. I'm sure people could make use of a service like this all around the country.

Amazon Prime isn't cheap, but it is definitely useful if I want something shipped quickly.

Apple should start selling iInsulin for Diabetes. Do I really need an Apple TV or Thunderbolt cable that fast...Well, No. But insulin...YES.

35 minutes, and not a single buzzing flying drone for as far as the eye can see...

What the heck is Postmates?

I know what USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc. are, but, never heard of Postmates?
Sounds like a delivery service. Most likely pretty easy to find more info about it if desired.

A U.S.A.-only feature from Apple?

I'm flabbergasted.

So start your own delivery service in your area and work to partner with Apple. I'm in the U.S. and this isn't available to me either.

If only there were a website one could visit and type things like this in to retrieve answers.

J/K. I know it's more fun to ask a community instead of a program.

$19 is kinda high . Though that is for the customer to decide how quickly they want it .

Yet no eye is batted at the cost of the watch, imac, ibook, macbook, etc..?

It's how postmen and women meet like farmersonly.com
