The “Take Note” teaser makes me think that maybe we’re about to get a new Apple Pencil? We’re coming up on 4 years since the release of the second gen model. Not sure what they would add but I’d be interested to see.

Wish list: new smaller apple pencil, iPad Pro with landscape camera and much better battery life. I barely get 4 hours screen time with my 12.9 Pro. Lighter Magic Keyboard with an off switch (preferably in software), my current keyboard drains the iPad even when not in use.

If those 4 hours are for gaming or watching video, then it might be expected. if it’s for anything else you should contact Apple Support.

I am shocked at the price! I can't believe Apple didn't make the price tag higher! I'm I reading correctly? 128 GB for $129? Apple has learned a lesson and knows a higher price tag will not successfully compete.

I did, and had an exchange. The new iPad is the same: 4-5 hours of general use (browsing mostly) with a constant power drain by the Magic Keyboard (which I also had exchanged). That keyboard ensures an empty iPad in a week of non-use!

The base iPad is a surprise but makes sense given past base/Air/Pro designs all being the same with different screen tech and other features. People thought square corners etc. and maybe even the home button remaining.
