The Apple store is down in the US and Australia (cbf checking the rest), I wonder if it is iPad related...

    Probably just maintenance though.

    Yus!! xD

That, or they're fixing the slight flaw in offering the rest of the world a 4G iPad?

The most likely reason it's down is to update it with the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models. And maybe a replacement for the Mac Pro.

(If you're going to dream, dream big!)

What? You haven't heard? We are about to see a new phenablet, iPhone 5, iPad 4S mini and a 3rd Gen iPad with real 4G (compatible LTE) for the rest of the world. Exciting times!!

Woops, also new Pro's and Air's.

Here's hoping that it comes back up and everyone's tracking status us updated to "with delivery driver... Expected delivery 15 march".

I really doubt it, but it would be a nice surprise.

Why is this not on the front page? It has been down for quite awhile. If it was a product refresh it would be really early in the morning. It's probably just maintenance but who knows. I don't think it's related to the new iPad and ATV. Why would they bring it down in the evening still over 24 hrs away from launch?

Would they be adding new stuff though on the eve of the iPad launch?

    They should spread it out.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B176 Safari/7534.48.3)

iMacs are way overdue for their update. Aren't Thursdays usually when apple refreshed their Mac lines?

It's probably 2am or so where the macrumor editors live. I'd bet they are sleeping.... poor form really ;) I personally think that what makes the most sense is removing "4G" from international Apple stores in countries that don't use the AT&T LTE band to prevent any legal issues. But I doubt it... maybe we'll see some accessories, or maybe they are just doing maintenance to prepare for some rush?

Watch it be down for a few hours, and when it comes back up, no one will be able to figure out what the hell changed, lol.
