iMacs are way overdue for their update. Aren't Thursdays usually when apple refreshed their Mac lines?

I thought they used to do everything on Tuesday's... That seems to be different now. Would they really release new hardware a day before the new iPad launches?

Why not? But then again, highly unlikely. Doesn't Apple usually have a press event to announce a new line of Macbooks?

Probably not but I can dream :)

Maybe. A few retail employees still like product releases, and they want as many crazy fans as possible to drive everyone to the brink of insanity.

Often, but the Mac Pros usually don't get their own event. And weren't last years MacBook Pros not getting an event as well? Or am I just crazy?

There was no press event last year when they updated the MBP in Feb and Oct. they just took the store down really early and refreshed them. That was it.

I hope it's iPad pre-orders for second round countries... if it's supposed to be here on March 23 they have to start taking pre-orders asap.

Yes, you are certainly right there. Last Feb though, I ordered a 2010 model just before the early 2011 model came out, and there was serious delays in the shipping of my macbook pro. They ended up sending a 2011 model (I guess to save restocking/shipping fees within the 14 day period).

As far as I can tell, there are no delays in products atm?

I dont think its for a product refresh, since the rest of the website is working just fine. You can see all the products etc. Its just the "Store" which is down.

I'd guess routine maintenance?

It's back up; looks like nothing happened

lol, called it.

At least now I can try ordering the new iPad. Well, that is if they will ship to an APO address. If they do, then my biggest choice will come down to either wifi or 4G model.

I don't know about the US, but for the Singapore store, the iPad accessories section is now properly populated. Previously, when I clicked on Cases, it would only show the (Product) Red smart case. Now, the whole lot shows up.
