Quite a few people have mentioned that they're just going to use the 8 series for a month and a half til the X comes out.

Which is interesting. Because I have read others saying the same thing. So for those who want an iPhone 8, and if someone wanted to save some money, they could start checking eBay about the time the iPhone X launches, and they might be able to get an iPhone 8 cheaper that's like new.

People have that much disposable money to switch phones like this? I guess you can sell it for almost the same price..

The Woodlands TX store said it was busier today than on Friday. They still had most models available though.

Went in just to see how the launch was going and nobody was in line, just the 20 people who were picking up. It was sad and great to see. Sad being everybody might be holding out for the 10 and going to make our lifes hell, or the split launch is really going to help all iphone buyers out this year. How was your local store?

How about the fact the iPhone doesn’t sell anything like it used to? If people have the 6S or 7 then they most likely won’t all see any point in upgrading, especially as iOS 11 runs on all those devices. Sure the Ten is a new device but priced really high, so again I doubt it will sell as well in the first instance, maybe over the year but you won’t see lines if people for that.

Like I said - this is a slow burn release. People will visit the stores when they have time. Many will walk out with iPhone 8 models, many won’t. No need for this launch day rush stuff

I went to the union square sf store yesterday to pick up my AirPods and only a bit busier than usual. Dedicated line for iPhone pickup other associates dealing with other pickups. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Far cry from the 4 release

Lol, it was for the sake of my countrymen to identify..

It can’t be any crazier then past years launch. The 8’s launch just took away millions from the processs. Plus you guys live for these days! Lol
With the hype surrounding the 10, I fully expect people fighting over the damn thing lol. So not looking forward to clocking into work that day

But really it’s only $130 more than last year. The 7+ ran me $870. So since most people are monthly that’s like $10 more a month. And now you can put any amount down to make ur monthly payments smaller which I am going to put $100 down and bring my $48 monthly to $32 a month and only need to make 11 payments to upgrade next year...

I don’t see why you would ever want to do tht, as soon as you open that box the value goes down. Plus that’s BS if people do that, Apple should say back of the line
