The ignorance of a lot of comments here is astounding...

That said, two new casinos are opening up Ocean (old Revel) and Hard Rock (old Taj). Combined with some possible sports gambling in the near future I’m surprised they are closing now. I would have waiting until at least Q1 2019 to see how things were and if no uptick in business during half of the summer or at least some late in the year over the previous year, then I’d close.

The only place worthwhile in AC now is The Borgata. And I wouldn't really have a need to go to the Apple Store while I was down there. The one time we did go to the outdoors outlet mall there (near, but not exactly where the Apple Store is located) a year or so ago, parking was a pain as others have said. They should have worked that out a lot better if they really wanted to build out a retail presence there.

Two fond memories of the AC Apple Store. Our big industry conference is in AC so I spend a week there each March (I volunteer my IT skills for the conference including registration).

1) Waiting in line for an iPad launch (Maybe iPad 3 or 4)
2) Buying many MacBook Airs for our registration desk when the computer rental company screwed up (they reimbursed).
