iPad (Apple Store) iPad 4th Gen Shipping/Tracking Thread...

Same here - none of the tricks mentioned have worked for me. Still says processing on Apple's site. Trying to trust Apple but I'm getting antsy.

Same. Tried both UPS and FedEx with the phone number(s) as a reference number, country/zip ... nada.

Though I do remember my wife saying when she ordered my 3rd Gen, it went from Processing to a few steps into the shipping in one night. I figure mine has to hit the US tomorrow, giving it two days to get to my door.

I'm cool if it's a little late, it'll eventually get here (though I shipped my 3rd gen out today, so I'm iPad-free...) :)
 
My fedex page says "Standard Overnight - Indirect", which could possibly mean that it will ship on Thursday. That might be the reason why our Apple status pages still say "preparing for shipment".
 
Mine has been "preparing for shipment" for 3 days. I still don't know the serial number n the UPS n Fed Ex tricks aren't working for me. I got my smartcase today but who cares without the ipad right? Not me. Hope this doesnt mean issues for me.

My iPad 4 is also still in Preparing for Shipment and Delivers 11/2. No luck finding on fedex or ups.com tonight. Hopefully it'll show up as next day air on Thursday. :)
 
Hey all! My iPad has been on Preparing for Shipment for 3 days too. Yesterday the serial # showed up in my list of items and today they billed my credit card but the status never changed :( I tried tracking on UPS and Fedex with my phone number and the serial number but no luck with both. It's a bit worrying since it's wednesday night. Anws I hope i'll get it on time I CAN'T WAIT LONGER lol

I'm in Canada btw
 
I had to ring apple twice to get my UPS shipping number as there's no 1z on their site. Still hasn't shown up on UPS, yet it was apparently shipped Saturday even though status was only changed yesterday night

Tried all the tricks too

Same! Well, it looks like it started in Nashville, then Tennessee (I'm in Florida too).

This was just like last time, the site showed preparing for a few days, then suddenly there was a full FedEx update showing it had left China and was on the way to my location!

Anyway ... WOOT WOOT :D
 
Got an email shipping notice today. I had to set up a request for fedex to hold at my local fedex office. It says delivers by 3pm on Nov 2nd, but I won't be home until 3pm and apple won't let fedex leave it outside even if I pre-sign for it.
 
shipped around 2:30am from Nashville, TN and is now on its way to Minneapolis, MN :D should be here Friday by 3:00 pm!

Just a reminder (at least for FedEx shipments), these require a signature, or you can print a form from your Apple orders and leave that as the signature (so you don't have to be there in person).

mine says it was shipped on October 28th. But the ETA is the 6th??? How is that possible??? Annoying..couldve just gone to an Apple store..
 
I ordered mine early on release day. It's been sitting in Louisville Kentucky but I see that today an import scan has been completed so I'm wondering if it will ship out later today.

UPS is still saying on-time for delivery by end of day Friday Nov. 2. I ordered a black 32 GB wifi Mini.

Can't wait!
 
hey guys, in Toronto here. Ordered a 64gb wifi-lte model a few hours after pre orders opened and my order still says days later, that its processing my order. It also says it ships in late November. Anyone else in the same boat?
 
Can anyone from Canada (west coast) tell me when they're expected to receive their 4th gen Wifi order?
Mine says shipped on the 28th but ETA is 6th of November!!! I ordered the day it came out!

This is correct isn't it? as its not a wifi only model the lte isn't being released until mid November... (i think that's right anyway)

I think it's correct, but it's odd how some users are getting "mid November" as their ETA for shipping and im getting "late November"
 
I ordered a Wifi 32gb black on 10/28. Item shipped today standard overnight and is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. When I looked up the serial it doesn't show complete info, only the production week (36) and factory (DM).
