Apple Store iPhone 13 & Pro Availability Mega Thread [MERGED]

So I pre-ordered the Sierra blue, as did a lot of people, and while most are loving it I don't really like it (it's too dark/gray for me) so I'm planning on exchanging it for a gold (since I had a silver 12PM for the past year) and there's no availability for any color, carrier OR storage size of the 13 Pro Max anywhere... I don't remember it being like this last year with the 12 series. Anybody else surprised by the lack of 13 Pro/Max inventory? Considering gold is usually the least sought after color I'm definitely surprised there's none available in any storage size anywhere... The chip shortage is real, y'all!

No cases available anywhere either. We were up at the local Apple store to exchange my airPods since they were having problems and wanted to get a case for a 13Pro and they had very little and no good colors. They were sold out of 13 Pro and Pro max

I don’t think that’s really too unusual. In store inventory is generally pretty low for the first few days, or even weeks, after launch. The stores do get new stock every day, so check first thing in the morning and you may get lucky and snag something.

What time do you think store inventory probably updates in the morning? I want that gold before I'm no longer eligible to exchange/return this blue!

Same here, nothing available at my local Apple Store, my Silver is out for delivery, 1TB, will get it tomorrow when I get home from California.
 
Go to the actual store and check. Walk-in inventory doesn’t show up online during launch, and they get more every day.

There were no shipments during this past weekend. It’s always the case with Apple on a weekend. Keep checking tomorrow. They’re probably getting more just today.

Honestly demand for all of the phones looks a bit higher than I thought. I expected more stuff to be avaialble Saturday, Sunday and today, but not seeing anything. Frankly this may be a better seller than iPhone 12 at least initially
 
We aren’t doing too bad here in the UK. A few resellers still have stock! Especially the 13, 13 mini and 13 pro. The 13promax seems harder to find but plenty of stock of the others right now

I work at Bestbuy mobile and my store got around 23 Pro Max preorders, out of the 23 we only got 4 in and all from ATT. We have the regular 13's and even some pro models in stock but all the maxs are extremely hard to find at the moment.

Unforatnly a lot of the Apple stores don't allow walk-ins atm. The 3 here by me in FL only allow you to enter the store by an appointment basis and will tell you to check on the website to order an iPhone.

Even for walk in’s, technically it’s not on the spot you can get the phone, it’s more of a walk in reservation, and they tell you the time to come back. AT least that’s how the apple store near me did it That way.

Well, that's nice, I wish my stores allowed that. Yea I tried the 3 by me and was told to go online. I screwed up my pre-order, I was one of the ones that was trying to use my Apple Card to pay for my IUP payment and kept getting denied so I was in a panic to get my order in and I did NOT read and instead of selecting IUP and selected the iPhone Payment Plan and my idiot self did not catch it until Friday when I was about to head to Apple. So I had to cancel my preorder and now trying to find one in the store.

it's not just $1000+ iPhones.

In the last week and half, I've experience shortages on bottled water, paper towels, canned beans, frozen unprepared calamari rings, marinara sauces, and even pet food. There is definitely something weird going on. Even during the height of the pandemic last year, the shortages weren't this bad.... :(

There's a shortage on almost everything, Spray Paint and Wood Stain is almost sold out everywhere.
 
This morning we continue not having any inventory for any Pro or Pro Max phones, my local Apple Store opens at 10am, and since 8am I've been looking and no store within 250 miles appears to have received anything on the Pro models. 😢
 
inventory will be low to at least November. Troubles this holiday season coming
