Apple Store Just Shipped My Tiger!

I called and listened a pre-recorded message about Tiger.

Apple says that anyone who ordered Tiger before April 26th will get it on Friday.

If I don't, I'll be upset. And my order still says "Preparing Shipment"

I have had experiences with things like that before. I would call the carrier and see if you can convince them to speed up the process or just ask them why it takes them 48 hours to drive a few miles. :rolleyes:
 
Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow since it's chilling in Ontario, CA along with thousands of other copies. Knowing FedEx though, I won't get it til friday b/c they don't ship until they have to. :(

Hope I'm wrong!

I ordered Tiger at 1:51 PM on the day it was released and I'm still "Preparing Shipment". I would assume that since many other people have received their tracking numbers today (and who ordered much later than that) that they did not ship my order today, and I won't be receiving my copy on the date that I was promised by Apple. On the other hand, I have a libretta that I should attend on Friday night, and that would be much easier to do without Tiger to hold me back :p
 
I am getting this most of the time. But, when I do get to the site, it is still preparing to ship.

Did not receive any response from application. It is possible that the application does not exist, or that the requested url is incorrect.

Yeah, I'm getting that too, but I think it only took a day for them to ship Panther to me, so I'm not worrying, yet.
 
My prediction is about 5pm on Friday I truck down to the Apple store and buy Tiger.

Then on Tuesday, the second version comes.

It happened with Panter, iLife, iWork. Might as well with Tiger.

And it's not like I don't live 20 miles from Apple's world headquarters...

Second version? What do you mean? Do you seriously believe that Apple will release a different boxed version of Tiger four days after they start selling the first version? This isn't LoTR, you know! :eek:
 
Mine still says "Processing Order"!! What gives? Am I the only one that is still stuck at this stage? I ordered the $10 update through the Up-To-Date program by the way. Anyone else order the same Up-To-Date?
 
Can anyone else track their order via TNT? The reference apple gave me doesn't work on their site :(
 
Mine has shipped in the UK. Can anyone else out there get the TNT tracking to work?
 
If it still doesn't work by the time I get home from School I will phone up Apple. Last time they gave me the wrong tracking number.
 
here's my fedex status...i thought it might come tomorrow since it shipped this morning (or so fedex said...)...but i just checked again and it left just now:

My family pack shipped tonight. From Canada to LA. Sitting in LA sorting facility for a Friday delivery. I hope it comes early

I meant I end up with two copies of the same software.

From my limited experience with couriers, the tracking system either updates a good 12 hours after collecting, or updates about an hour after they deliver :)

Hopefully TNT will prove me wrong.. Ahh well at least it has been shipped! Should arrive tomorrow, tracking my order wont speed it up..

Afterall, they say patience is a virtue :p
 
Mine shipped from PA, and went down here to Dulles airport. It left Dulles at 4:28 am. Dulles is only 30 to 1 hour away from me! Unless Fedex holds it intill tomorrow it should be here today!. :D :D
