Apple Store Just Shipped My Tiger!

Another UK Order Shipped, and no TNT Tracking as of yet either. In my experience, the tracking should start to work mid-late afternoon. I don't think the parcels have actually been tracked in by TNT yet.

trackins is working, mine shows up, shipped at 9.20am today.
 
Finally got a statues via TNT
It is 'INTNL OVERNITE' service and Pick Up date 28/04/05
Pleaseee TNT try to deliver on time once!!
 
TNT tracking is working

I just tracked mine. Says it was picked up today and is being shipped overnight. So if all goes well it WILL arrive at my office tomorrow then I can rejoice :D

Where is it being overnighted from....States, or Europe

You know thats a good point.. I just assumed it was from a warehouse in UK. It doesnt actually say on there, but i think its fair to say it'll be here tomorrow (i did after all order before the 26th which is quoted on the US helpline as being the cutoff date).

If it comes it comes if it doesnt theres not a lot i can do about it.. in the immortal words of whoever - sh*t happens :)

I think Apple's software products ship from Ireland (don't quote me on that though).

My Tiger should be here tomorrow, hopefully it comes later in the day so someone is definitely in to sign for it, if not someone will have to go to the depot which is over 1 hour away.

Status: Allocated for Delivery

I highly doubt I will get it tomorrow since there is only one ship over from the UK each day and it doesn't sound like it has made it on the once coming over tonight.

Its a shame it doesn't tell you where it currently is.
 
TNT aren't that bad once it's in the UK. They tried to deliver my iLife upgrade to my house but I wasn't there to get it. I called them about 10am the next morning to rearrange delivery and expected to told it would arrive the next again morning. Nope, about 2 hours later, it appeared at my office's reception (other side of London).
 
i ordered Tiger within 3 hours of it being annouced and i just got an email from Apple saying:

Due to an unexpected delay, we are unable to ship the following
item(s) by the date that you were originally quoted:

M9639Z/A, OS X V10.4 "TIGER" RETAIL-INT
will now ship on or before 05/03/2005

Order tracking works for me now, although something a little odd..(and yes, I photoshopped out the reference numbers if you're wondering)

I seem to be able to view someone else's order with the same reference number - I can even view their signature from when they received it.

Hmm..strange!

Phoned up the local TNT guy, he said he doubt it would get here tomorrow. I hope TNT work on Saturdays :S

Did he say exactly where the Tiger copies are? Abroad - Holland or somewhere else?
It seems everyone in the Uk (pretty much) had theirs shipped today and status is 'Allocated for Delivery'.

I don't know UK places that well, but I think he said North something and then stansted :s
 
i told myself i wouldnt waste space by posting when tiger came, but i cant help it.

WOOOOOOOOO! TIGERS HERE! Came to my UK work address 5 minutes ago. Shame I dont finish work till 4:30 :rolleyes:

Thats 7 long hours away! Oh well.. guess I can look at the packaging :eek:

Indulge yourself, my friend! :) It's a special day, that only comes once every few years in MR land. Unless, of course, you play both sides of the fence, in which case you get to get excited about Longhorn next Christmas on Dellrumors.com. ;)
