The quality is insane. They probably compressed it like that so that it would look good on the 30 inch monitors.

How do they toss around a nano so much without getting it all printy?

i used save hollywood for a while for the mac OS X .4 welcome movie. i cant seem to save the nano movie to my computer...i know it's pro only to dave quicktime movies but how did some of you do it? i noticed that some of you had referenced it playing in full screen and thaat it was only availiable in the pro version
anyway, save hollywood made me feel sick after a few runs of the video! i dragged it kicking and screaming to the trash.

iPod Nano (and others) Demo
Folks,
This isn't that big a secret for Apple Stores (and others, like CompUSA, etc.). When you quit the screensaver, the player quits. There are several versions, a couple of iPod ones, Nano, the new Video iPod, and the iPod dancer (don't know what it's called). They all work the SAME, just Command-Space to bring up Spotlight, search for Demo. There's a folder called "Apple_Demo" Copy the whole folder, it includes the looping movie and the files necessary to make it a screensaver. And yes, they DO include sound. Have a thumbdrive? That's your best option to grab these files, and I can't see Apple or anyone being upset that you grabbed it, after all, it's an ADVERTISEMENT, so you are endorsing the product by getting it and distributing it, or did I miss something?

1. I second the guy who said he can't get the files anymore. They don't exist anymore.
2. I believe the Apple Education store I work at has the most recent "Buy a Mac, get an iPod" screen saver on disc if anybody wants that. I'll see if I can snatch it.

Gah, I need that video! The Final Cut demo reel video is so awesome. I think that's the one they showed at Apple Store, SoHo on the theater's screen. Awesome times.
