Hey tazo I just got back from the Bellevue store... I thought it was beautiful, but you didn't get a t-shirt??

How late did you get there? I got there sometime at 9:45 and waited in line for at least an hour and a half and still got a t-shirt and they still had a couple boxes left after I left about a 45 minutes later. There had to be more than just a thousand t-shirts, 'cuz I know that there were more than a thousand people in there before I got in, so I'm surprized that you didn't get one...sorry :( .

BTW the t-shirts are frekin' huge! I'm not a small man and I usually ware just a large, but these XL seem to be like a dress to me. I kinda wish I can get one of the black ones the employees where waring, they're more my style.

Well anyway does anyone know what the "Designed by Apple in California" on the back means? anyone thank this seems odd for a t-shirt?

apple puts that thing on the back of almost everything they "design" or make or produce, whatever the right word is.
the t-shirts are like one size fits all or something, it'll be really inconvenient for apple to give away t-shirts in like 7 different sizes so they give out something large.

I'm not complaining and understand completely about the one-size-fits-all thing too, it just struck me odd since I'm not not a small person (6ft. 200lbs.) and it fits me like a small bed sheet.
I usually buy my products second hand so I've never seen the "Designed by" before. I wonder why they are so proud that they are from California? Its not like I have a problem with Cali. and I'm not from there so is it normal to be so proud? I could understand if they're Texans and its from Texas... 'cuz they're weird like that (j/k), but California?

Heh, no kidding, pretty much everybody here in California knows at least something about Macs, back when I lived in OK though, Macs were like an alien species or something, the first time I saw one was somewhere on the internet, and the first one I saw in real life was at a Fry's here in Cali, I never saw them in OK anywhere, Apple needs to spread around to the people that don't know what they are, not saturate the market where they already have a strong presence.

Yeah, you're right about Apple's presence here in Oklahoma. They can be found, but most Oklahomans have probably never seen one. I know of 6 stores in OKC and Tulsa that sell Macs, but most of them are small, boutique-like stores. Did you live in a small town when you were here?

Austin, TX deserves one. Dallas sucks, and it has two.

Yeah, Shadowfax, I definitely agree with you. Also, I believe that Apple has an office in Austin, so you would think that there would be some desire to open up a store for their employees to shop at. I think that they should open one up to thumb their noses at Dell.

Heh, I lived in a little town outside of Tuttle, but this was all before I even really got into computers but as far as I know there's only a couple places in the city that sell Macs, one of them is CrapUSA and I've seen some sites on the internet but not in person..

Apple needs to spend some time, effort and money to get to people who've never even heard of a Mac, not sell to places where they're already extablished, that's called stagnation and it is the enemy of innovation.

Ah well, at least they have a Gateway store...

Heh, maybe when Gateway goes under Apple can buy out the property and replace it with one of theirs..
