(Apple Store Pre-Order) Oct 14 - 21 Delivery Date

How long does the preparing for shipment phase last? FYI my Oct 14-21st delivery dates still show order processing.
IT'S SHIPPING!!!
Just happened to wake up early this morning and there, in my inbox, was a shipping notification from Apple! Looks like it came in around 11 PM PST last night.
In looking at the tracking screenshots in the Oct 1 - 6 thread, it looks like it takes about a week for the shipping process, regardless of where you are in the US. So, we could have our phones by the end of next week!!! WAY better than the 13th - 20th window we were initially given!
I'm waiting for my shipping info to update on the UPS website so that I can start stalking planes on FlightAware...

In other threads I saw, most people said it was about a 12 hour period between when it was marked "Preparing For Shipment" and then changed to "Shipped". We're in the homestretch!
If it doesn't change to "Shipped" by end-of-day Friday for those in the Oct 13-20 group, I'd be surprised.

Congratulations. When do you think the 14-21st Batch would ship?
Thanks! I would imagine it would be shipping right on the heels of this group, but a day later? Did you order through the Apple Store (online or app)? If you ordered through your carrier, I don't know if that affects delivery time or not (but I wouldn't think so).
How come those with Oct 14-21 delivery dates including me haven't seen a change in their order status yet

It's safe to say the 10/13&14-10/20&21 are all in the same batch. It's just info. is coming in delayed at half of a day.

Actually I did this morning however, nothing showing on UPS website. Go figure
Moving forward Apple should really do a 50-50 regarding courier service. It's to my understanding Apple gave 90% of the shipping business to UPS and 10% to Fed-Ex, and it's obvious UPS couldn't handle the volume.
I ordered on the apple website on 15th sept and still processing with the 14th -21st batch dates. Anyone with those dates have any change in status?
