(Apple Store Pre-Order) Oct 14 - 21 Delivery Date

I hear you, dude. I actually ordered on 9/12 and was bumped out to 10/3-10/20, sucks! If it weren't for being so vested in the iOS ecosystem, I'd probably go the android route just to get the bigger display.

by the way to make our tracking better. Do you have any idea in regards to the delivery dates? The 1st batch was the sept 19 delivery date. The 2nd one is the oct 1-6 which is shipping now. Are we the oct 14-21 the next batch?I know!!!!
I would say that's a fair assessment. Also, according to flightaware two additional loads arrived in Alaska this afternoon, and hopefully we're on that batch as the Oct. 1-6&7 are accounted for with some receiving their units today.

I'm in the same boat.
I can't order with ATT next to pick up in store or full retail price so I have to buy online and wait.
We're all in the same boat playing the waiting game
and I figured this week is launching in 20 more countries so it'll be even harder
I'm hoping that the shortage this last week is in part due to building stockpiles for the second wave of countries. Hopefully after this Friday they'll have an idea of order numbers and be able to divert stock back to the States as necessary.
Huh, there's flights coming into Alaska then USA daily. That said, those of us that ordered prior to 9/26 shouldn't be impacted.
Canada here and my freakin order is still Oct. 16-23 even though I ordered the first hour the store went online on the 12th! This is complete utter BS!
And my local Apple stores never get any 6+ so I'm screwed both ways!

When are we likely to see an update on the dates going by the early deliveries of the October 1-6 batch. Any particular day of the week delivery schedules are updated? My estimate stands at October 14-21st ordered on Sept 15th.
We were hoping to see our dates move up to an early date this week, but it doesn't seem likely so far, so I'm guessing perhaps next week.

Ok, so my order just moved into "Preparing for Shipment"; however, del. date is still 10/13-10/20. Anyone else seeing any changes in their status, or del. date?

No worries, and you're on the right thread. We are all looking at del windows of 10/13&14-10/20&21. Thats said, please continue to participate and offer updates.
I was planning on going to a local store and buying my 6 Plus (even though I ordered through Apple Store app on 9/12), but my status just changed to "Preparing for Shipment" too, so I can't buy locally and cancel my existing order, unfortunately. On the flip side, though: there's progress happening!
