Apple Store priority list

nice! I'm waiting at the South Coast Plaza too... tho I placed my order on July 4th...
 
Paatience is running out

I just got of the phone with apple. (he was very short with me) Not too much luck. The guy said I should expect to wait another week. I'm getting anxious, obviously I have been on this site looking for positive news. I am wondering at this point should I go order one from AT&T they said it will take 5-7 days but you have to buy it on a credit card. I have already been waiting a week, I know that's not long compared to a lot of people. But I am wondering should I wait it out or go to AT&T?

I can almost guarantee you that if you order from AT&T, you Apple Store one will be here faster then the AT&T one.
 
So for someone like me who isn't eligible for the $299 price on a 32gb until July 22nd, in theory I could put myself on the list ahead of time in the hopes that it might come in shortly after my upgrade date?

Got on the list here in Austin yesterday. Who knows how long it will be. At least, I'm assuming, maybe the first problems with phones (yellow screens) and such will be long out of the supply chain. That is my hope.
 
Got on the list on 6/28, but ended up getting mine at ATT on 6/29. Finally got an email that my iphone has arrived yesterday. :rolleyes:

the majority is probably in the morning when they get the new shipment. and later they might release some if people don't get their reservation on time. i think they said you have 24 hours to get it or they will give it to someone else.

i went on the list at the woodcliff lake nj store. who knows how long it will take.

my father ordered one online the day it came out and got it a week later by mail. his pre-ordered ipad even came directly from china.
 
I put my name on the list, July 3rd. Still no news. I only got a confirmation email. Hopefully, I get it July 12th, as that is the 10th day. It seems most people get theres within 10 days. I will let you know if I get any emails from Apple.
 
I got on the Uptown Minneapolis Apple Store list on 6/29 (afternoon) for 16GB iPhone. All I've received is the initial confirmation email about being on list. I would love to hear anyone's experience in the Minneapolis area receiving their iPhone 4 and how long it took waiting on the list. Thanks.
 
Still waiting in VA

I've been on the MacArthur and Short Pump list since June 30th and on the Bethesda Row, Clarendon and Pentagon list since July 1st.

Is there anyone else on these lists that has heard anything besides the first email? I didn't even get the "you're moving up the list" email.

I'm thinking if I don't hear anything by Monday, I might as well just order online and wait it out. At least the online store gives a rough estimate of when I'll have my iPhone.
 
I reserved a 32GB and a 16GB iPhone at the same store, to see which one comes faster. The 32 was reserved today and the 16 on July 3RD at the Apple Arrowhead Store in AZ.
 
so am I the only doofus who got this thread's subscription email, saw the subject that said "apple store priority list" update, and got all excited thinking it was from apple and the iphone had arrived?

btw, I've been calling my store (south coast plaza mall, CA), and they give me no info on where I am on the list. They said they did get iphones in today, but it all went to the priority list. 1 week and counting....

Yeah ii known same with me.have you gotten the " we will be with you shortly email?" vie been waiting little over a week and haven't gotten it.
 
So I was inspired or just tried of waiting and took the advise of another poster and went to Walmart on Harbor blvd in Santa Ana Ca. I was able to buy the last of 2 16GB iphone 4's they got in yesterday. 3 people had either called or walked up to asked about the phone while I was checking out. now to cancel my priority @ the SouthCoast Plaza apple store so the people behind me can move up.

Happy Day!! I got my first iphone!!:D

no emails since the confirmation email when I signed up. Hopefully we'll get lucky this coming week :)

Sooooooo happpppy

I followed in dr. Spices footsteps and went to walmart they had 4 but their limit was 2. I also cover mine with screen protector I am debating on a bumper
