whats the best time to check availability to reserve a 6s in Apple Store, have anyone been lucky to get any 6S plus AT&T models throug online reservation after the 9/25.

Looks like the 6S Plus is starting to become scarce. I had thought my local store would have stock today but it looks like it is not going to happen.

I was able to place a reservation for the 6S Plus SG AT&T 128 GB on he 26th (Saturday). It's quite possible that I got lucky as it's likely someone didn't get approved for the iUP and couldn't afford one or that the placed a reservation but didn't show up, I'm sure there are lot of variables. But I got lucky to get my ones on one on launch weekend.

I'd says keep checking at 8 am. I reserved mine at 8 am last saturday Morning, and I was first in line to pick up.

Managed to snag one yesterday right at 8am CDT when inventory refreshes for the Apple Stores. Did a reservation for the afternoon, took a nap (work overnights) and then started driving to the Apple Store at 1pm.

iPhone 6S Plus 128GB Space Gray (AT&T).

I still haven't opened it yet as this is the first time I've spent over a grand on a phone and I'm not sure I like the feeling...

Early in the morning on days like Tuesday's and Wednesday's. I'm not sure exactly why but I was told that by an Apple employee last year on my search for a gold 6 plus and that how I was able to get one.

The best time to check is 8am. I did not pre ordered. I just waited until the 26th and reserved my 6s + and bout it using the apple upgrade program.

I woke up at around 7AM this morning and I was able to check inventory of Apple Stores in my area (Southern California) on http://www.istocknow.com/live/.

They all had pretty much every variant of 6S Plus. They had multiple Rose Gold Options. All I had to do was wait until 8AM to be quick and reserve.

Same situation here, but I got 64GB version. Have had it for a few hours now, still sealed.. Soo expensive... for a freaking PHONE.

In Dallas/DFW area, I checked istock website couple of times yesterday, the Knox st. restocked at 12 noon, grabbed 2 unlocked/Tmobile 6s+ Rose Golds. Reserved and picked up from store in an hr.

Yes. The day after launch (Saturday) at 2:30 PM I reserved a 128 GB Gold 6s+. The following Tuesday at 8 AM I reserved a rose gold 128 GB 6s+. Both AT&T.

Several times throughout the day I could reserve a 6s+ rose gold 64gb (thought I was going to have a change of heart), they also had other colors. This was at the Apple stores in Austin,TX.

Also check during the evening for people who didn't show up to their reservations or changed their mind.

Picked up ATT 6S+ 64GB Rose gold yesterday using store reservation. Reserved t-mobile model but ask genius if they had any ATT and he said yes so i switched to an ATT one and paid in full and the phone is unlocked. Try after 8:00am to reserve it using apple website. I drove around 160miles to another city to pickup but i also had some other work. Wife is happy with here 6S+ :)

Reserved today 6S+ 128GB at exact 8am! A minute later checked out of curiosity, and it was not available anymore! Looks like they had only one 6s+ in stock, or maybe they had several units and everyone reserved it at the same time at 8am...

Thanks teamjaycub for providing istocknow.com info. It was very helpful, I located the store on the map and reserved right away, rather then checking every store in my area for availability!

I was able to get a reservation for the 26th, I ended up not being able to make it but I was able to reserve two 6s+ (64gb) for the 30th with no issues in the afternoon (nyc locations). This is the 3rd year I just reserve the phones for pick up with no issues on or close to release dates. I think im done with pre-ordering them online for shipping.

Starting to get really frustrated...Since Friday I've been waking up couple minutes before 8am to try and reserve a 6s plus RG 128gb and even at exactly 8 onwards, nothing was available!

I'm wondering if it's worth it to just show up at the store and maybe they'll have it in stock even though it doesn't show it online?

I was just able to reserve an AT&T 64gb rose gold 6s plus. I tried at 8am and the only thing available was a 16gb. For the heck of it I tried around 11:40 and my store had 2 64gb in stock. On my way to pick it up now

Don't waste your time, my friend. I've tried that at Apple Stores in Raleigh, Durham, and Atlanta, all with no luck. iStocknow.com even showed the Atlanta store having the model that I was looking for (64GB 6S Plus, Rose Gold, AT&T) when I walked into the mall. When I got to the store, the woman said that they had none.

It's weird-I'm noticing a pattern when looking at istocknow today--> it looks like Rose Gold plus phones are plentiful on the east coast of the US today while further inland (OH/PA) they aren't available. I'm personally trying to reserve a 64gb silver plus AT&T with no luck (so far) today. Hoping I have more luck tomorrow or wednesday this week.

anyone else notice any (or similar?) patterns with what they're looking for?

speaking specifically about AT&T plus RG models*

How reliable is istock? When I click on the site then try and reserve a phone usually takes me to an iphone 6plus reservation then it shows 6s plus is out of stock..

For the gold phone I reserved at 8 AM and the rose gold I reserved in the afternoon, when I picked up the rose gold the SIM had to be replaced because it was assigned to someone else. The gold phone did not require a replacement SIM.

For what I know about this (which is very little), it means that the gold phone might have been a cancelled reservation or part of a shipment. The rose gold phone might have been a purchased but they didn't follow through. So I assume when it became available at 2:30 PM it wasn't part of a shipment of phones received by the store but instead a one-off. Or I'm wrong. :p I'm just guessing in case the data helps someone else.

It's hit or miss-I think. some stores show no stock of iphones (which can't be true. most have at least 6s). I use it as a starting point and then check on Apple.com via the reservation page. always start the morning off on Apple.com though.
