oh man im in a bit of a pickle, i called, they said they have 6 left, and i live 40 minutes away.
plus with my 14 miles per gallon trailblazer im not sure if i want to risk paying that much, especially when i wanted the 8 gig to start with... hmmm....

I ordered one (16GB) from the online Apple Store. Why haven't these shipped yet stores are now getting them in stock?

My store too! They have 5. I cant go till tomorow evening. im SO PISSED. by pre ordering i thought id get it the same time as stores!! grrr
Confirmed Troy, Michigan has stock. The previous claim about Soho having stock isn't true, they said they don't have any tet. My local store doesn't though, hopefully by tomorrow morning and I'll run out as fast as I can.

it doesn't make sense that the stores are receiving a small quantity, when PRE-orders havent gone out yet, they should be fulfilling the guaranteed orders first, don't you think?
Why do you say that? I was just told on the phone not 5 minutes ago that they have the 16gb in stock.
weird, the person I spoke to said they wouldnt have them till the 28th, maybe she hasnt been told that theyre in the store already lol!

Man, that is whack, wut the heck is going on, seriously... They should be filling the orders for those who have paid for them already, you know, it would make you think they would.. And I don't get why a few select stores are getting them. They should put them up on display so they can get even more pre-orders from people who are waiting to try them out. This sucks too cuz I changed my order and it will take another week for the orders to be fully switched, so no way am I getting one next week.
