Apple Store (US) is down!

    but it's monday ! prob. like last time - server stuff. maybe theyre preparing their server to the launch next week ? .. well idk. hope its something new

    i don't know.... i wonder if apple is getting away from tuesday release days.

    You guys are fanatics! It's almost cute.
    Not saying nothing will happen tomorrow, but it's fun to watch how the slightest hiccup with Apple's site will cause everyone to believe something happened. ;)
    The other day my credit card company's site was down. I wonder if that means they released new cards! I'm off to check!

    With any big product launches the US store always goes down last. So I doubt this is something else then preparation.

    But why would Apple need to "prepare" the online store for updating another day? Also, it's only the US store that does this. Doesn't make sense to me. Probably just some kind of maintenance.

    Basically, they need to create the new page for the new iMac. When the new iMac is released, all they have to do is make that page live and delete the old one.

    its been down over an hour now. Man it has to be new iMacs I'll feel really bad for my sister if she doesn't get an updated iMac. Although really the specs will probably be pretty close. And monday isn't a typical update day.

    Hype is over. :( They just did a minor redesign.

    Nothin or at least not new imacs. Looks like they may have changed the layout a bit?
