Why is it different using Apple products in store versus owning them? Thanks.
Because I can't run around naked using my iPhone in the Apple Store. I mean again.
Same reason why take out food is different than eat in food. Or is it?
What exactly is different?
Using the products in the stores feels different.
Can you be more specific?
So...again, what is it exactly that's different? What feels different? In what way does it feel different?
I love the sweeping and vague premise of this thread. Let's make it count!
Maybe the ambiance? There is a certain "thousands of people have touched this" charm at the store.
Ah, plus all the tech in the store is the latest and the greatest, too.
I have the opposite reaction from charming - I get freaked out, go home, fill the tub with Purell and soak and cry ...
Silly question. Because when you get them home, you can actually be productive with them.
This is a very odd thread.
Because it's not your computer. It doesn't have your usual apps on it, you're not already logged in. You're standing in front of this strange computer and don't know quite what to do with it.
Is it because it's not specifically yours but your allowed to play with it?
Exactly this! You're right I guess. Kinda like driving in someone's mercedes or someone driving you in one of someone else's car.
