Imho

IMHO there should be none in stores. There are already thousands of customers waiting for their iPad 2s.

I called my store, and they indicated that if they have any iPads to sell, they will only start selling them at store opening until they run out. So if I wanted to know if they had any, that was the time to call. (Of course, calling means I'm not in line).

Sucks for people like me who have office jobs.

To an extent, it makes no difference. I was 2nd in line, but there was no inventory.

I was 6th in line on Saturday, they were out of most models unless you like White. I was 8th in line this morning, but they only had 4 available, so I wasn't able to get one.

The bottom line is that I should have taken the day off on Friday or placed an order online, once they went on sale. Now I am SOL!

The beer vendors at a local minor league baseball stadium here wear shirts that read "Free Beer Tomorrow". Good luck to everyone going back again tomorrow.

Menlo Park mall in NJ told us they don't have them. "You're welcome to come by and check tomorrow," No thanks, I'm done. I guess I'll just have to wait until April 14th... :(

Called on 3/15/11 around 8:30PM to Apple Store at Danbury, CT was instructed to get there the next morning since they would have very "limited quantities" and they do open early (9AM).

Got there this morning around 7:40AM and there is a line with 20+ people ahead of me. Waited for 20 minutes and Apple sales came out and start giving out tickets, they only had 16GB Wifi or 32GB Verizon ipad2s I believe. Got two ipads and left around 9:10AM.

Hope this helps other people on getting one.
