i didn't use mac so i didn't install it...
because my mbp 17 is a gift....so i got no choice...why sometime i start up my mbp17 it will error and and restart for 2nd time then only i can go in my windows7?? some time disk error and ask me ctrl + alt + del
sometime diskimg error , sometime white screen there jam...is it my vertex3 got prob??but after go in windows7 it work normal....i test atto benchmark the highest is 350mb/s only...is this normal?? :confused:

Why does it matter if your MBP is a gift? It's not going to do some other magical thing if it is a gift. If I'm reading you correctly, which might not be possible since I have no clue what you are doing, you didn't install Mac on the hard drive but you put it in a Mac machine? Huh?

I don't understand why the OP constantly refers to Windows along with his main usage to be programs from Windows. Why not just get a PC by selling the MBP? You don't lose any money this way and you'll probably make money since PCs are relatively inexpensive for the most part.

clearly english is not their first language so give them a break, its pretty clear they have a mac and they want to install win blows and it keeps crashing

op put the stock HD back in and see if the problems are happening, if not then do the firmware updates on the SSD as I suggested in the other thread

why they want to use win blows instead of mac is beyond me but thats their choice

English isn't my first language, either. There's a difference between that and writing, "LIke THis GUYS!!!??"

Your Macbook isn't an RPG character. You're not saving the world from an evil dragon/turtle who kidnapped a princess, you're buying a hard drive. There's a distinct difference between the two.

I just can't understand why you are saying you don't have a choice. Sell it if it really matters. It's not like your're tied down to it.

If your laptop is a 17" MBP they have many issues with SATA 3 SSDs, which I'm surprised no one mentioned.

That could be the reason for your crashing? I don't really no what is going on as I don't understand you though. -.-;

i luv the mac design..and if i sell i need to spend somemore cash ..mac lcd screen is the best i ever seen over all laptop...and somemore if sell my mbp my gf will angry on me...:D

guys...if install windows7 only nothing i can to to solve this problem? beside update the firmware? i scare if i update firmware then i got evenmore problem...i see ocz people post their problem after update their firmware...please help...:eek:

There is some thought to having the whole machine (SSD included) covered by Applecare. I am not looking for blazing speeds so I went with the 128SSD Apple option on the 2.2 15" MBP (with HI RES and AG), for the £60 drive upgrade it is a good deal in my opinion. Even the fact that they keep the platter drive a 128 SSD retail here will cost around £130 low end and £200 for a high end one" so not a high cost differential.

I can buy a decent platter drive with more space at 7200 RPM for less if needed; I intend to use a 2TB TC and/or and ext drive for backups and large move files so the 128MB on the MBP is my "work in progress"...at leeast that's is the theory.

So yeah I sacrificed speed in the latest SSD for peace of mind and probably paid a bit more than I could have. The SSD Apple use is probably mid range but I am hoping it is trouble free and at least faster than the 7200 platter drive...fingers crossed...will have a look and see what grand it is and let you know when it arrives.

Just need patience now :apple:
