Apple Stores - Lines

not sure if there's already an existing thread for the 5S, or threads in the previous years. but I thought it'd be useful to have a thread to update each other on your store(s) status, especially for those interested in waiting in line.

anyhow my usual store is in Pasadena, CA. as of 11:06AM the line is halfway down the block on Colorado. I am guessing that's maybe 30 people.

sorry no pics. I happened to call to ask for their return policy for a buddy's iPad. and asked how bad is the line and they told me halfway down the block.

not sure how it's like in other LA stores or other states, but this is pretty typical for the Pasadena store every year.
 
One in line @ Germantown, TN last night (been there since Sat:eek:)

Saw 3 in line on the Miracle Mile in Chicago about an hour ago.
 
I saw a world record breaking two people waiting in line outside of the Los Gatos Apple store in California :)
 
I was at the albuquerque,NM Apple store at 1pm and one guy already was starting a line, had his chair and umbrella ready and waiting for tomorrow!
 
I'm going to wait in line tonight at 7 p.m at my ATT&T Store. My Apple Store is in the mall and it will be tough standing in line all night with no bathroom. :mad:
 
People will post in their respective meetup threads. ;)

I do want to see a picture though :)
Also, make sure you call/ask ahead of time if they have the size and color you want.

I called the Pasadena Store at around 1ish and they guy told me there was about 5 people waiting. Geeze I hope theres isnt 30 already! Im lining up right after work.
 
Waiting in line the night before i can just about see the point but any longer then that for a phone then there's got to be something wrong with them...

I wish someone waiting in line at the pasadena store would submit a picture to this thread already!! I mean it looks the only one with any relevent information in regards to the line pasadena...come on guys!

Spoke to security yesterday and they said they would call me back with any information regarding procedures they would be taking, but so far no call back. Best thing to do I guess would be to call The Grove and ask to speak to security and see if they have anymore info. Ive made my decision to just got to Pasadena Store so gave up on following up with The Grove. I dont see why places like this with security dont plan for this every year, and devise some type of organized way to go about it so that it does not turn into a rampage. :apple:

one of them's gotta be lying. or just didnt care to check. or a bad guestimate.
5 people will not reach half a block down. anyhow if you do line up could you please post a photo? I will also be swinging by after work.
