I'll be off at 4:30. taking the bus back home to get my car which should be around 5:10. and I live minutes from Apple so yeah I should be there before you.

Are all of them really gonna stand the whole time? Non of them seem to have brought a folding chair or something similar. I guess the hard floor/ground will be their bed tonight.

I saw a world record breaking two people waiting in line outside of the Los Gatos Apple store in California
It'll grow. Quickly. I imagine by sundown the Los Gatos store will have a healthy line.
I camped in that specific line for the 4S and the 5. This year, it's Boulder, CO for the 5S.

This is Australia, doors already opened 30 minutes ago. Crowd is slowly trickling through now. Here's another shot of the line from a different angle. Probably over 200 people here and still growing. A bit surprised by the size tbh.
Also no gold or silver stock. Only space gray.

Ugh. I live in Indianapolis and we have ONE apple store for the whole state. I called about 2 hours ago to ask for details and they had 9 people in queue ahead of me. I was thinking about going at 3 am in the morning but damn... Anyone there at the Keystone Apple Store in Indianapolis yet??
as of right now 4:09PM TWO people in line. but they suspect once people are off work they'll start trickling in.
Dropped by the Cabot Circus store in Bristol shortly before 8pm, no queue. However, the store hadn't shut at that point so the people in the store might have been staying in there as long as possible before getting in line outside when it closed.

Or, get food from nearby restaurants and use their restrooms, too.
Really, it's not that hard to take care of necessities while camped in line.

What about the anti-loitering law in Santa Monica? I was told by Apple Employees they weren't permitting lines to begin forming until 4:30a.
I might hit them up in the morning before work. I just don't know how it would work since it's in a mall.
