Not sure if you know this or not, but under the Warpowers Act of 1973, the President can deploy troops for a max period of 90 days sans Congressional approval.
Apparently he has 48 hours to notify Congress, 60 days for deployment, and 30 for withdrawal (assuming he doesn’t get congressional approval). I wasn’t aware of all this.

He is also in violation of the UN Charter. But the Security Council is going ahead with having Melania chair its meeting tomorrow despite the war, which pretty much sums up the uselessness of the UN at this point. 🙄

The us can take every country in the world on at once bro, regardless a dictator that oppressed its people and funded terrorism is being dealt with, what’s wrong with that?
Some people seem to like dictators a lot these days. “Democratic Socialism” is just the gateway drug. Funny how these same people complain every time we deal with one. Shows their true colors.

A definition that’s going to be used less and less. Would Canada describe themselves as an ally? Denmark? France? Even the UK’s “special relationship” is with the divorce lawyers.

The US under the current administration is going to find itself more and more isolated and ostracised.
Canada is in full support of this action. We can have minor differences of opinion on dairy tariffs and still agree on freeing the oppressed. Playing the long game is important with allies, core principles are the common ground with which we stand together.

The UN has practically always been useless. It’s majority of the time the US doing all the heavy lifting. Considering the US is pretty much on its way out from the United Nations, pretty sure they could care less about violating any UN charters, etc.

Every soldier knows that he may be called upon to avenge the honor of his fallen comrades.

It's a sacred vow and you don't sound like you would understand...

I would, actually.

But I also don't use the word comrades, and have never heard it used by my colleagues. At least not the American ones.

Until then the UN Charter was ratified by the Senate, making it the law of the United States. Disregarding it is nothing but lawlessness.

Those are freedom missiles hitting Iranian schools?

It’s already been proven that video isn’t even from this weekend, it’s from an entirely different event with different people last May 2025 or prior.

“ This image is not a real photograph of a missile falling on a school in Iran. It is a piece of misinformation that has been debunked.
The Truth Behind the Image
• The Origin: This image first appeared online years ago and has been circulating as a "failed missile" hoax in various contexts.
• The Reality: The smoke patterns shown are contrails (condensation trails) left by high-altitude aircraft, not a falling missile. In cold, high-altitude air, jet exhaust freezes into ice crystals, creating these white, lingering trails.
• The Location Discrepancy: As you correctly noted, the terrain in the photo (snowy mountains) does not match the southern regions of Iran where these alleged incidents are often claimed to happen. The photo likely depicts a mountain range in northern Iran (like the Alborz mountains near Tehran) or even a different country entirely during a winter season.”

The footage has been confirmed although it is true the exact number of dead kids remains unknown. Estimates as high as 185.
