Ehh, for less money you can get one of the recently-released 32-inch 4K 240Hz OLEDs.

And those come with multiple widely-compatible ports for any non-Apple computers you might want to attach ever.

The 5K resolution is nice, but I’m not convinced it’s worth giving up so much for.

Totally agree .. and the OLED high refresh rate 4k is absolute (chefs kiss)

all time low except for all the other times it was at this price if not lower a few times. never mind has been this price at Best Buy for a week or so.

surprised they haven't mentioned HomePods are $229 at Costco and Mini's are $70. (not that there isn't a good chance I missed it if they did mention it. )

This is the best consumer-grade monitor that exists on the market. True 5K (2880p) resolution, no PWM at all, amazing quality panel. Just buy it.

Anyone who is talking about 120 Hz or anything else related to gaming should just buy a gaming monitor. This monitor will work for games, but it is a high quality display, not a 0ms speed-over-quality gaming display.
Editing video and using rendering and modeling software….. 60hz is terrible for.

So because we don’t use it the way YOU use it, we’re wrong?

Still too expensive and still too small.
It's not too expensive for what you get. I made the mistake of trying to save a few hundred bucks by getting a widescreen 5K 34" LG display and it's a wobbly piece of plastic garbage with blacks not as deep as the 2015 5K iMac — which came out like 6 years before it — with tons of reflections, and offensively bad speakers. The Studio Display is worth every penny.

As far as the size, how many larger 5K displays are there right now? 4K, sure, but have you seen a 34" 4K display 2 feet away from you? You can see every single pixel like it's 2004 all over again.

Eh, I sold mine last year and got a 4K PC monitor instead, can’t say that I miss the “extra K” at all, even when using macOS which I’m repeatedly told is horrible with PC monitors
I just don’t see it, like yes I can tell it’s not as crisp but at the distance I sit at I literally cannot appreciate the difference

Plus the new monitor I have is OLED which runs leagues around Apple’s IPS, as good as their factory calibration is
