I don‘t have any buzzing Sounds with a connected M1 MacBook Pro (14“) either.

Anyway i‘m not fully happy with the Studio Display. Although It´s Fan isn‘t quite noticable it‘s louder than my iMac 27 Retina 2015 i had before. In addition the Studio Display has a few backlight bleeding spots where the iMac Display was quite perfect.

I so much wanted this display to be a good one, I wanted to replace my thunderbolt display. But this SD is crap, I'll eventually buy it once the used price comes down to the level it deserves. The current price is way too high
So you happily buy crap as long as it is not too expensive? Interesting approach...

IMO, it's inadequate shielding from dirty RF line noise. My neighbor had the same problem with his ASD which replaced a third-party second display hooked to his Mac Pro. He made a 'Genius' appointment at the local Apple Store and was asked if he uses a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). Said "Yes, but only his computer was plugged into the sine wave UPS" because the Mac Pro about maxes out the UPS when running hard.

The Apple Genius suggested unplugging the Mac Pro from the UPS and running the ASD through it for a test. Problem was solved and he subsequently bought another sine wave UPS to run both monitors. Apparently, high-quality sine wave UPS units clean up the power even if it's not running on battery.

This workaround did not work for me.

Caviat, I am running through a "Furman", but I have no noise out of my Studio Display, and I do have car chargers in the garage and dimmers, but no noise yet. That said, a variety of electrical devices in any given house can send interference to other devices in the house. I have a toaster over fan that makes noise on the TV when running. Turning off the bathroom fan clicks the TV sound bar speakers. Stuff like that. But I agree that if this is widespread, something like a noise filter repair might be in order.

Seems like Apple has some issues with the whole Studio line buzzing, the mac and now the display..

Do you mean people imagine the noise and it's not really happening in any of the monitors?

Do you think in turn that Twitter is a reliable source of representative data?
No issues on my side so far (fingers crossed).

It's not their greatest product (camera!) but until someone can point me to a great and better 5k monitor for less money, it's the best there is.

And what would be an example of such an high quality sine wave UPS? Because there are people saying UPS or power filters did not solve the issue for them.

Mine doesn't have that problem.

Neither does mine. And I have Lutron Caseta dimmers and other home automation dimmers throughout the house.

Love my Studio Display. It's a joy to use. Every. Single Day. Especially when I process my photographs in Lightroom.

I came from a 5K iMac which I thought was superb. The Studio Display is noticeably better. Overall an excellent value if your fussy about color and display quality.

I wasn't saying anything. It was not a rhetorical question. I was actually asking what he meant since he said that users are "paranoid and attack" the monitor.

Also this has nothing to do with whether Twitter is a source of "representative" data, since my question has to do with whether ANYBODY is experiencing this issue, or whether this is a genuine issue for ANYBODY, not how widespread the issue is, if it exists.
