This guy is an argument for post natal abortion.
It would be awful! And what would be limited to the lockout. Maps, Music, CarPlay?
I can't believe lawyers are wasting their time on this. This is what gives lawyers a bad name. Luckily once I'm done with Law School I won't mess with this nonsense!
Lol. Aside from Brexit, like it's some small thing.Aside from Brexit thank God I live in the UK!
How about if we all just take PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY and stop being stupid *******s, doing stupid things????
People will mess with anything as long as it pays good.
Here, here! It's the same as drunk driving, make it illegal across the US, but actually have significant penalties and people won't do it.
The lawsuit was filed. Anyone can file a lawsuit for the court fees. That's actually a good thing in general but can be abused. Just because a lawsuit is filed doesn't mean it'll make it past the next step. A judge can easily dismiss it before it even gets to court for any number of reasons. How does garbage like this even get to court.
How does garbage like this even get to court.
No way, dude! I bet you only say that because we get trophies and gold stars simply for participating, amirite?!Wow, americans need to be babied like this? Just put the damn phone down and use it when you're at your destination. Not hard.
Luckily once I'm done with Law School I won't mess with this nonsense!
Yes, on one end of the spectrum. We're stuck in the middle now where our cars do do a lot of driving for us already. All we have to do is steer, gas, and brake. Add the shifting back into the mix, like most of the rest of world, and it would make phone use more difficult. Let the cars drive completely, or let people drive completely. The middle sucks (said by a guy that couldn't find a decent and affordable manual transmission where I live, but wants one oh so badly).Self-driving cars are the solution.
Unfortunately those actions can take out responsible and innocent adults in their wake.
Though yes, I agree this lawsuit is monumentally stupid and the plaintiff should be mocked.
I could go either way on this, but I see the person's logic, particularly in view of Apple's patent. If you aren't going to implement technology protected by a patent filed 9 years ago, that's bad faith of the patent process (at a minimum). Most of the ignorant posters on here seem to just see "lawsuit" and immediately start frothing at the mouth at the opportunity to call the person an idiot.
