No thank you. I'd rather have iOS 17 be essentially iOS 16.5 (now in early beta) plus:
1. Multiple app store support through the App Store app.
2. Third party access to the NFC chip.
3. Better integration with third-party Bluetooth wireless headphones (maybe through a completely separate Headphone app).
Adding a feature like interactive widgets in my opinion is asking for more complexity issues.
I'm concerned that Apple may be too late to introduce interactive widgets. Hopefully they will be more innovative than Android and introduce applications that can be used in daily life. Let's hope they don't produce a replica of Android, but rather something new and exciting that all their fans can appreciate.
How about ... they give us a normal grid we can put apps and widgets anywhere on and for the last time widgets don't need titles under them. Ugh.
Like seriously. I curse the fact that I'm so deeply ingrained into the Apple that ecosystem I couldn't have an Android if I wanted one. (and I kind of do)
