So "Come see our latest creation" means what? A new iPhone OS? Must be one helluva OS then.

There's no doubt there will be a new product announcement today, but it will NOT be a tablet. The rumor sites have worked themselves into a frenzy over this with no actual evidence. Steve Jobs is probably laughing to himself right now, getting ready to unveil the REAL surprise.

I agree. I certainly wouldn't short, but I did sell March '10 $220 (covered) calls against my AAPL holdings recently. This has already proven profitable.

Seems people are psyching themselves into a frenzy over a... uhhh..... product.
its a thing that'll do... stuff... and just like your mac classic, it'll be a curio, or landfill in a few years. Why not focus on a paradigm that really reflects the meaning of the slogan "Think different" and change the nature of consumer society? with RepRap, or Fab@home, Contraptor or CubeSpawn. Decentralize manufacturing, truly change the future. Or, maybe continuing to leap around like puppies at feeding time suits you better... ;-)
