Great line, and true! When you are at the top, you can only go down. Except for Apple, they always find a new summit.
It also lowers overall cost driving price down or as Apple prefers increased value. The company continues to have money to put into R&D and into less profitable divisions in the company like Macs
If I sold 10 cookies last year, and this year sold 13, my cookie business enjoyed an annual growth of 30% . . . . .Xiaomi Annual growth + 31%
Apple Analual growth + 4%
I would hope that you wouldn't pay more than what you can or want to afford. That can't be done with reasonable profit and only with excessive profit? Maybe I hang out with smart consumers on Slickdeals too much where no one has the empty-our-pockets mentality. When you go buy a new car, do you also try to empty your pockets/bank accounts or aim to pay at or below sticker price?
Exactly! And I'd say some Apple products are a better deal than ever now. The m1 macs give real value. If the amount of dollars in your wallet is a concern, by all means peruse the slickdeals forums for the best deals for low end android to ease the pressure.
It should be pretty obvious by now Apple doesn't give a **** about your wallet.
Either pay up or go Android.
I would hope that you wouldn't pay more than what you can or want to afford.
I find the Apple products as a whole to be well built, long lasting and a value for what I do.
I for the most part buy refurbed and hang on to Apple products for a long time.
I bought the macbook air M1 new and I find it to be an incredible value.
I use the iPad with Logic pro x, and control it with the free software that Apple provides.
The Apple watch unlocks my MacBook and "talks" to all of my Apple devices.
I can transfer files through wifi with air drop to my laptops and mini.
I find the Apple environment to be fun and very efficient.
I'd use android and windows if it had the same qualities but it doesn't.
Use what works for you.
There are many here that are a fan of tech in all flavors and forms. But I like my tech to provide bang for buck as I see it. The latest widget or tchotchkes just for the sake of doesn't do it for me (usually). This is one reason I don't use android as my daily driver, I don't find it provides a bang for the buck, even though it supposedly "does more".I'm a fan of tech and not a brand fanboy.
Sure there are some teething issues and the average Joe is probably enjoying theirs.Typing this on a MBA M1 and it's a step in the right direction but the OS is buggy and bricked on 2nd day, Touch ID doesn't wake it up when asleep and doesn't have touch and pen inputs like the $500 Windows convertible laptop, Safari is leaky, etc. Good enough for the average Joe.
Thats too bad, I've had no problems with mine. touch id or watch opens mine up fine.I'm a fan of tech and not a brand fanboy.
