It's got to have more "NEW" than that.
The top panel shown looks to be the hated tear-drop design, with the top thicker than the bottom; the better to flip out of your hand and crash onto the floor.
A longer 4S is so uninspiring that I don't believe Apple will do it.
As much as I love my 4GS, I want the next iPhone to be very different and much better.
A 16x9 screen makes perfect sense for videos.
In that case, may I suggest they lose the crappy ear-piece speaker. I can't hear in traffic. Instead move the powerful lower speaker to the earpiece: we can lower the volume if it hurts our ears for telephony. Then, for videos, that same speaker will FOR ONCE be firing to the front where we are (instead of to the right where we aren't) and we won't have to cup our hands to the bottom to re-direct the sound. This leaves a little more room at the bottom for something cool - like a recessed lanyard attachment so we won't drop the darn phone or we could hang clumsy little tassel toys there like they do in Japan. My friend sent me a beautiful knot turtle and I have no way to attach it. Besides I'd rather use a lanyard.
BTW, the flat-satin charcoal bezel is gorgeous. I hope it is adopted instead of the tacky-cheesy chrome krap: the screen image should not compete with a flashy, shiny bezel for attention ---- taste, people, TASTE !
The two-tone back looks like crap.
Low-glare Gorilla would be much appreciated.
That's all 🙂
